Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Lead development of power converters used in BMS systems and vehicles, including housekeeping power supplies, DCDC converters, and on-board chargers

· Lead choice of power converter topology, considering application, power level, voltage level, packaging volume and other constraints

· Design and optimize power transformers and inductors for power converters, including selecting core shapes, core materials, winding ratios, winding patterns, and all other electrical parameters

· Conceive and develop digital control systems for power converter designs, including creating simulation studies and assisting real-time software development by team members

· Utilize simulation tools such as LT Spice, and produce power converter simulations and models

· Work with suppliers on key component selection and custom part design

· Design circuits in Altium, and assist in floor planning and review of PCB layouts

· Plan and lead physical testing on prototypes

· Full product design responsibility, from concept through production launch

· Contribute to the development of electrical PCBAs for all ONE’s products

· Define and write detailed component and subsystem test plans; analyze test data, write detailed test reports, and present results and recommendations to engineering management
