The Information Technology Department is responsible for the Firm's computer and telephone systems. The IT Technical Support Analyst is responsible for installing, supporting, maintaining and tracking all firm computer and telephone equipment, as well as supporting the Microsoft Office Suite and Desktop Operating Systems in a network environment, all while providing outstanding customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Position Summary

The Technical Support Engineer responds to situations where first-line product support on-site has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment, software or solutions. The Support Engineer may be involved in customer installation or upgrades. ProSidian seeks a Safety and Environment Technical Support Consultant - GSSC (Time and Materials) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford. This position is located in the CONUS - Northwest Region.

Safety and Environment Technical Support Consultant - GSSC Candidates shall work to support requirements for FY22-SB05 AMSE Technical Support Swim Lanes and statement of work (SOW) while maintaining required qualifications with relevant Government, Public Sector and Infrastructure (Nuclear and Environmental) Sector experience (functional area experience also ideal). ProSidian Team Members (# FTe's: 1) work as part of the Engagement Team Cadre to provide Safety and Environment Technical Support on behalf of The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Hanford Site, Richland Operations Office and Office of River Protection Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP), Assistant Manager for Safety and Environment (AMSE) - Environmental Compliance Division (ECD).

This Safety and Environment Technical Consultant will assess and summarize weekly and monthly AMSE environmental compliance oversight activities and provide regulatory support to the ECD to start-up and commission the Direct Feed of Low-Activity Waste (DFLAW) facility. The Safety and Environment Technical Consultant will work closely with ECD staff to assess and evaluate contractors' readiness to support the DFLAW operations through implementation of Air Operating and Dangerous Waste programs and requirements.

Additionally, The Safety and Environment Technical Consultant supports regulatory inspections at the Hanford site and assist DOE in responding to the regulators' inspection reports. The Safety and Environment Technical Consultant shall support the following scope activities:

  • Provide strategic solutions to emerging project challenges/risks such as ongoing maturation of the contractor's Air Operating and Dangerous Waste Programs and interfaces between all the site contractors and AMSE.
  • Complete critical assessments of the contractor's Air Operating and Dangerous Waste Programs as required to start-up and commission the DFLAW facility.
  • Coordinate environmental compliance oversight activities with DOE organizations and disciplines to ensure the necessary interfaces are in place.
  • Perform environmental regulatory and programmatic reviews for adequacy and reliability; ensure compliance with established criteria and sound engineering principles; and identify omissions, discrepancies, inadequacies, and nonconformance with approved criteria.
  • Utilize project management skills to support ECD's ability to support the DFLAW integrated operational schedule; implement effective, environmental/regulatory risk mitigation strategies, assess cost and schedule impacts due to environmental non-compliance issues; and evaluate adequacy/implementability of procedures for implementing the approved permit conditions; and identify areas for improvements in the contractors' permit management, environmental compliance programs, and readiness activities.
  • Support site-wide regulatory inspections, assist DOE in responding to inspection reports for accuracy and compliance with the regulations, interact with the regulators for resolution of inspection issues, and maintain configuration control of a comprehensive inspection log for tracking/closure of regulatory inspection open items.
  • Coordinate and perform ECD environmental regulatory oversight activities to achieve readiness and start-up of the DFLAW project. Oversight activities will evaluate the effectiveness of the contractor's Air Operating and Dangerous Waste Programs and adherence to the permitting conditions.
  • Document oversight results within the Integrated Contractor Assurance (iCAS) database.
  • Brief AMSE, AMTF, AMWTP, and AMRC management and Core Requirement owners on oversight results, technical issues, options for resolution, and facilitate decision-making.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports which document the effectiveness of AMSE's oversight of the contractors' environmental compliance and regulatory permitting/inspection activities.
  • Maintain regulatory inspection/permit correspondence logs to track, manage and complete ECD actions and activities.
  • Follow-up on AMSE issues, adverse conditions, and other areas of concern.
  • Participate in weekly coordination meetings.
  • Participate on Integrated Project Teams (IPT).
  • The Safety and Environment Technical Consultant shall maintain proficiencies in the following through periodic training:

Qualifications

The Safety and Environment Technical Support Consultant - GSSC shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.

Education BS/BA degree in engineering or physical science.

Job Description

The Project Manager will support requirements for ORP Site Technical Support Services and serve as administrator and liaison between the contractor and Richland Operations Office/Office of River Protection for the purposes of this Call/Order and in support of several ORP projects and mission (Programs). The ideal Project Controls Manager will provide administrative support in a variety of routine processes and office support functions. As a Project Controls Manager, you should be able to independently perform multiple tasks with dynamic priorities and have knowledge of Hanford mission support activities and familiarity with the Hanford Site mission, activities, and priorities.

  • Participate in weekly interface meetings with Task Monitors to review progress and/or discuss the potential alignment of efforts and priorities where required.
  • Support quarterly HQ performance reviews, annual briefings, and Quarterly Contractor Reviews.
  • Monthly Project Performance Reports, Ad Hoc requests from management, and HQ for Operations Activities information.
  • Support analyses over the course of the period of performance, including consolidation of data, analysis of performance data, trending, variance analysis, etc. on a schedule determined to satisfy the needs of the customer/stakeholder.

External Audit Coordinator - Hanford Site Technical Support (Full-Time)

ProSidian Seeks an External Audit Coordinator - Hanford Site Technical Support (Full-Time) headquartered near Richland, WA 99319 to support engagement for the DOE Office of River Protection (ORP) - an independent office at the DOE Site in eastern Washington state with the exclusive focus of remediating and solving the DOE's tank cleanup challenges. ORP's mission is to protect the Columbia River by safely cleaning up radioactive and chemical waste contained in underground storage tanks located at the DOE Site.

This Full-Time position currently best aligns with the Analyst I Labor Category and ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while confidently engaging in productive "Jugaad" and dialogue targeting mission success.

Full-Time External Audit Coordinator - Hanford Site Technical Support Candidates shall work to support requirements for ORP Site Technical Support Services and provide external audit coordination support to the ORP Mission Integration Office (MIO). The External Audit Coordinator - Hanford Site Technical Support serves as a full-time external audit resource who will support the DOE Hanford Federal audit liaison in Hanford Chief of Staff as follows:

  • Ability to lead in the coordination, organized tracking of responses and data, effectively communicate and provide data to the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
  • Ability to ensure all data to the auditors are reviewed by the appropriate DOE Hanford staff are completed in a timely manner, and documents and emails consist of the proper legal language/markings. Responses and data are not written by the consultant.
  • Ability to provide expert support to the Federal audit liaison and DOE Hanford management team in interactions between DOE Hanford Federal staff and contractors, GAO, OIG, HQ-Chief Financial Officer, HQ-Office of Environmental Management and other DOE elements concerning audits.
  • Advise the Federal audit liaison on significant issues directly or indirectly related to DOE Hanford.
  • Ability to facilitate, track and report, on multiple audits at once on the entire process from initiation of the audit to completion of corrective actions.
  • Ability to review with understanding, GAO and OIG publicly issued final reports and HQ weekly status reports.
  • Ability to prepare summaries of GAO/OIG publicly issued final reports to DOE Hanford management for the purpose of lessons learned.
  • Analyze, identify, and communicate current trends or issues to DOE Hanford Federal audit liaison and managers and recommend resolution. Ability to develop weekly and quarterly status reports on GAO/OIG audits and corrective actions.
  • Ability to coordinate quarterly Department Audit Resolution and Tracking System (DARTS) status reports updates for DOE Hanford open recommendations corrective action plans.
  • Ability to obtain electronic concurrence in the DOE Hanford concurrence system, for the draft and final audit reports, auditors request of information and narrative responses, quarterly DARTS updates, and audits completion forms.
  • Attending, as needed, Departmental Audit Resolution and Follow-up process meetings or training for Federal audit liaison.
  • Ability to lead, identify, and provide expert analysis of issues, and recommending resolutions.

The External Audit Coordinator - Hanford Site Technical Support shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years. Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.

Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.

Positions require appropriate technical competency in writing, editing, and analytical writing or similar skills, the following shall be applicable to all, including:

  • Abilities for editing, formatting, Microsoft Office, Excel, digital technical support, Adobe Acrobat, Office Timeline, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat support to the entire ORP staff.
  • Support will also include classifying and summarizing information for needed and specific briefings and reports for preparation and submittal and coordinating and ensuring other organizations are kept apprised of current information.

Education

  • BS/BA degree in engineering, science, or business management

Experience

  • Five (5) years of directly applicable successful experience and supported by past performance. U.S Citizenship.

Travel: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements. Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
