A hands-on approach is required from a senior technical resource, experienced in problem solving, technical incident management and software development, to not only oversee the day to day activities of the Collaboration team, but also assist with resolution of incidents.


About the Role:


As the Team Leader – Collaboration you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact client projects across our Ultracs product suite. Reporting to the Chief Design and Emerging Markets Officer, you’ll oversee a talented team, manage project support functions, and ensure seamless execution of collaboration services. Your leadership will directly influence client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. You will also take a hands on approach yourself, using your extensive software development experience to problem solve and resolve more complex technical challenges.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the delivery of complex client projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Supervise and mentor a team of collaboration specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Manage project support triage, defect resolution, and change request processes with precision and professionalism
  • Oversee third-party testing schedules and budgets, ensuring rigorous quality assurance
  • Act as the escalation point for project-related incidents, responding calmly and effectively to resolve issues

Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. Product Manager - Technical you lead the building products and services in a growing and dynamic space. Leveraging a background in product innovation, execution, and analytics, you will identify forward thinking scalable solutions, and advocate for products across the organization. We work to develop software products that facilitate the planning, production, distribution, sales, and returns of Amazon Devices, guiding leaders and partners on strategy and prioritization.
- Lead the development of the consumer-focused product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis
- Define creative, high quality, simple product roadmaps based on customer learnings, team strategy and vision
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and software architecture, based on knowledge of customers, devices business and supply chain processes.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Partner with engineering teams and program management to deliver products
- Drive product launches including working with stakeholders and executives
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

As a Sr. Product Manager - Technical in Device Operations Technology and Software (DOTS), you will work with business partners and engineering teams to ideate, develop, and deliver new tools, systems, and features.
About the team
Device Operations Technology and Software (DOTS) is a multi-disciplinary team of Product Managers, Program Managers, Data Engineers, Applied and Research Scientists, Business Intelligence Engineers, User Experience Researchers and Designers. We take an end-to-end perspective of the software needs of Device Operations, and ensure that solutions address the needs of the entire organization, and solve both the challenges of today and tomorrow.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

**Summary**
The College of Engineering & Applied Science at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Computer Science from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester. The Computer Science Department offers BS, BA and BI degrees in Computer Science; BI degrees in Game Design and Development, and Cybersecurity; MS in Computer Science and ME in Cybersecurity; and PhD degrees in Computer Science and Cybersecurity.
This position will teach classes for the department of Computer Science. Classes may be on-campus, online, or hybrid. Examples of courses/subject area include the following:
+ Programming in Java, C, C++, C#, Python
+ Data Structures
+ Unix
+ Web Programming
+ Computer Architecture
+ Concepts of Programming Languages
+ Databases

**Essential Functions**
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Provide high-quality instruction to students and work collaboratively with the school leader, colleagues, students, parents and the board to accomplish or surpass the academy's articulated educational goals. Work as a collaborative team member to implement the academy curriculum and accomplish short- and long-term academic goals.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; develop reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure; enforce the academy's student discipline code; collaborate in the implementation of initiatives such as school-wide behavior management systems.
  • Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs and goals of students; establish clear objectives for all lessons and units; ensure that lessons -- as planned, delivered, and assessed -- are aligned with state curriculum and school-wide curriculum standards.
  • Develop lesson plans and submit them for review and feedback as scheduled; work cooperatively with the academy's instructional coach to learn from feedback and improve the quality of instruction. Participate in ongoing analysis and
  • planning to ensure that the school's curriculum remains aligned to state standards.
  • Collaborate with special education staff to implement, to the greatest extent possible, an inclusive approach to students with special needs. Remain aware of student needs; participate in child study teams or individualized education planning; implement accommodations and modifications as indicated in student IEP's; seek advice and counsel from student support services areas when needed to ensure that all students are fully served.
  • Collaborate with other staff, as necessary, to implement grant-funded programming to accelerate learning for students with a variety of needs including special education, at-risk, limited English proficient students and others, to bring them to grade level proficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records as required; maintain the confidentiality of student records and student information. Complete any documentation necessary for the academy to be in compliance with regulatory requirements, such as time and effort reporting.
  • Communicate with parents and make provisions for being available outside normal hours; work with parents to encourage participation in their child’s learning experiences; provide regular communication to parents regarding their children’s performance.
  • Maintain professional competence via conferences, mentoring, involvement in professional organizations, continuing coursework, etc. Complete all coursework and other requirements necessary to maintain teaching credentials and "highly qualified" status, as required by the teacher's assignment.
  • Inform the school leader of needed instructional resources. Serve as an active member of teams such as grade-level, school-wide planning, school improvement or other areas of focus.
  • May participate in extracurricular activities such as coaching, clubs, student government, tutoring, enrichment activities, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • State teacher licensure/certification with appropriate endorsements(s).
  • Bachelor’s degree with subject area emphasis and/or coursework and/or experience necessary to be deemed "highly qualified" for the grade/subjects to be taught.
