  1. Liaison between ET leaders/SMEs and Risk Partners (e.g., Internal Audit, Issues Mgmt, Risk Advisors, 2LOD Risk) to provide end-to-end support of internal audits within ET. Including cross functional coordination efforts with ET leaders/SMEs and Risk Partners to:
  • Monitor and facilitate where necessary the management of audit requests to ensure timely and appropriate response throughout the audit lifecycle.

  • Draft management responses / remediation plans as draft issues are identified throughout the audit process.

  • Ensure the management responses / remediation plans to the Draft Audit Report sufficiently addresses recommendations across lines-of-defense and are submitted to Audit within the required deadline for Final Audit Report publication.

  • Ensure Internal Audit Continuous Monitoring (CM) materials are sufficiently prepared and delivered to Audit in support of routine CM engagement activities.

  • Support delivery of audit preparedness guidance and advisory with ET leaders/SMEs and Risk Advisors to apply lessons learned from prior audits, proactively prepare key materials, and identify opportunities for enhancement.

  1. Performs comprehensive and risk-based monitoring and remediation for assigned business unit(s) as delegated including all tasks involved in the execution of the monitoring and remediation (e.g. scoping, report writing, vetting findings, documenting systems and work paper documentation) to ensure Truist's processes and procedures are compliant and pose low and/or acceptable material inherent or residue risk.

  2. Coordinating mitigation or remediation activities where appropriate.

  3. Partner with ET Business Unit Risk Leadership in the aggregation, escalation, and presentation of risk reporting for assigned business units including the coordination and support for Risk Committees, Risk working groups, regulatory updates and other special assessments and reporting as directed by management.

  4. Execute a robust, high-quality issues management oversight program and Policy and procedure quality control process in adherence with enterprise standards.

  5. Develop relationships and partner with BU Chief Risk Officer, Audit, Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, Legal and other 2nd Line Risk areas to ensure accurate and comprehensive risk management practices within the assigned business units.

  6. Document the governance and reporting program including methodologies, processes and procedures, report writing, conventions for consistently vetting and documenting findings and working papers.

  7. Assist in the development and maintenance processes and procedures to ensure the accuracy of the reports produced by the team.

  8. Evaluate control weakness or key indicators exceeding risk limits and perform root cause analysis.

  9. Build a working knowledge of the business units strategic plan, key objectives, risk appetite statement, and RSCA process to understand the risks identified and controls applied to mitigate them to execute ad hoc risk management initiatives and controls testing.

  10. Assist in the detection of emerging and/or under recognized risks.

  11. Demonstrate Truist's risk culture.

    As a Business Systems Analyst on Genworth's Treasury technology team, you will serve as the System Administrator for the FIS Integrity Treasury SaaS platform while supporting complementary Treasury systems and a custom Cash Forecasting application with robust ETL workflows.     FIS Integrity Administration

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the FIS Integrity Treasury Workstation (TWS), including configuration, file import/export mapping, data analysis, reporting, and release coordination.

Collaborate with leadership, second line of defense program owners and other applicable areas of the bank to develop a framework and execute on risk program deliverables. Facilitate execution of key risk framework components as delegated by LOD2 risk programs.

  1. Provide coordination, effective challenge and robust independent oversight of policies, limits, and committees to drive effective governance structures and requirements to effectively manage and mitigate risks within assigned business units and support alignment with the overall corporate strategy.

  2. Provide consultative leadership and develop working relationships to drive the implementation and execution of a multi-level governance document structure and comprehensive inventory for all defined governance materials.

  3. Support and contribute to the design, implementation, and execution of comprehensive, forward-looking and risk-based frameworks, processes, and systems for prioritizing, structuring, reviewing and approving governance materials throughout the company.

  4. Support the monitoring and execution of risk governance policies and procedures to establish defined processes, clear roles and responsibilities, and effective challenge routines.

  5. Identify and monitor risk governance exceptions, issues, and emerging trends across assigned business units and committees to drive their remediation, acceptance, or escalation to governing bodies.

  6. Document the governance and reporting program including methodologies, processes and procedures, report writing, conventions for consistently vetting and documenting findings and working papers.

  7. Lead the Development and maintenance of processes and procedures to ensure the accuracy of the reports produced by the team.

  8. Build a working knowledge of the business units strategic plan, key objectives, risk appetite statement, and RSCA process.

  9. Assist in the detection of emerging and/or under recognized risks.

  10. Conduct data aggregation to support risk appetite framework and quarterly profile, including KRI's and ongoing risk identification.

  11. Assist business leaders in development of RAF metrics and thresholds.

  12. Generate content for regular management and risk program governance committees.

  13. Facilitate Risk Committee and other risk committee/working groups.

  14. Demonstrate Truist's risk culture.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent education and related training.

  2. 8 to 12 years of financial services or risk management experience, and/or equivalent education, training and experience.

  3. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to interact and communicate within all levels of organization, across functions, and within public sector/governmental agencies.

  4. Strong analytical, cognitive, conceptual, critical thinking and organizational skills.

  5. Demonstrated leadership, communication (verbal and written), presentation and facilitation skills.

  6. Demonstrated planning ability with demonstrated judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  7. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in related field, or equivalent education and related training.

  2. Understanding of key risk processes (Ex: RCSA, KRI, Issues Management)

  3. Familiarity with supporting a matrix support model / dotted-line relationship

  4. Strong presentation skills

  5. Ability to clearly define / communicate roles / responsibilities within an existing process design

  6. Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, data visualization tools

  7. Technology related experience in a large financial institution
