Sr. Technology Advisor, Technology, KBR Technical Services, Inc., Houston, TX:
Position KBR's selected catalysts with customers and conduct the negotiations of price, guarantees, and catalyst contracts. Identify new business opportunities and the enhancement of existing customer relationships, to improve market share and profitability. Establish appropriate collection, analysis and interpretation of data and information as it relates to competitive analysis, market intelligence, trends and benchmarking activities. Evaluate requests for proposal, prepare and present techno commercial packages to develop and improve new and existing customer relationships and support regional sales with respect to catalyst sales. Work with KBR technology licensing technical and operational team to assist with technical troubleshooting, using partners for consultation and implementing modeling scenarios and capabilities. Technically qualify and approve catalyst proposals from suppliers for use with KBR's technologies. Maintain relationships with licensees, customers, potential clients, engineering companies, and internal and external business associates to maintain existing and foster new business activities. Visit licensee and customer plants, head offices, and other technical facilities. Work with outside organizations including, licensees, producers, engineering, and catalyst companies to enhance commercial effectiveness and results.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.
Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, and 12 years of progressive, post- baccalaureate related work experience in any combination of the ammonia, methanol, refining, or petrochemical industry. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field and 10 years of negotiations and proposal experience in any combination of the ammonia, methanol, refining, or petrochemical industry.
Of the required experience, must have 8 years of catalyst sales and business development experience in the ammonia, methanol, or syngas industry, which must include account management, technology interface and catalyst services.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in the following:
+ Supply and technical service agreement negotiations; and
+ Ammonia or Methanol Production.
Domestic travel required up to 5% and international travel required up to 30% for sales and purchasing negotiations, vendor audits, conferences, and client site visits. Travel may be required on short (less than 2 weeks) notice.

You can demonstrate at least five years of experience in project management within the financial services or technology industries. You have managed cross-portfolio projects in a matrix environment. You are experienced with waterfall and agile methodologies in the context of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC). You have experience with project management and issue management tools like Microsoft suite (including MS Project, Teams), Planview, ServiceNow, and JIRA.

- Assists in gathering information to respond to RFI's and review of change orders in the preparation of construction documents.

- May perform other duties as required.
- Minimum ABET/EAC Bachelor degree or equivalent required.

As a Technology Services Designer in our San Francisco office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.
Why we need you:
In this role, you will use prior experience to convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, other consultants, field surveys and code research.
Expertise of our most successful Technology Services Designer:
- 5+ years' experience designing building systems in a MEP consultant firm.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
- Experience with Information Technology systems infrastructure.
- Understanding of building systems spatial requirements and design coordination.
- RCDD, CTS, PSP, or CNIDP certification.
- Experience with Revit MEP family development.
- Experience with Navisworks coordination resolution.
- Knowledge of NEC, TIA, BICSI standards.
- Strong spoken and written communications skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Effective working individually and within team environments.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000
