The Ground Systems & Services (GSS) Strategic Business Unit is responsible for driving business growth in the ground systems development, operations & sustainment, and technical services markets. This business unit focuses on designing, building and integrating ground systems in support of air and space-based assets, providing operational support for mission platforms and instruments and offering scientific and engineering expertise to our customers.
**What You ll Do:**
+ Responsible for the overall leadership of a portfolio of programs that is primarily responsible for investigating laser energy on materials, components, and systems and development of new laser sources for DoD applications.
+ Plan, organize, direct, and control all activities of assigned program(s) to satisfy contractual requirements (budget, schedule, statement of work, technical specifications, security, safety and other contract requirements) and meet financial commitments to the company, while ensuring good employee and customer relations.
+ Regularly meet with and serve as the main interface with the customer(s). Occasionally provides counsel to customer on matters of program execution.
+ Serve as the main BAE representative on all program related subjects.
+ Review and evaluate the program status on a continuing basis and work unplanned program issues to a best solution, including development of plans-forward, escalation and increased resources as required.
+ Interface effectively with Strategic Business Unit (SBU) management to communicate program progress, accomplishments, challenges and mitigation/resolution plans.
+ Interface effectively with Strategic Capabilities Unit (SCU) management to ensure program(s) are staffed with appropriate skill levels and that work is being accomplished according to plan.
+ Ensure that all business is conducted using the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations.
+ Identify and ensure required compliance with the government and company regulations, policies/procedures and guidelines; negotiate acceptance/approval of all program plans with internal interfaces and the customer.
+ Coordinate the shared use of capital assets and company facilities with other programs.
+ Ensure the program requirements, purposes, objectives, and expectations are communicated and flowed down to the internal team and subcontractors.
+ Develop and monitor fidelity of the program baseline including definition of tasks, program budgets and program schedules.
+ Employ proactive risk & opportunity management processes and practices to mitigate or capture potential program issues and improvements.
+ If required, employs Earned Value (EV) and Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and practices including variance reporting.
+ Lead change proposal efforts for program including pre-coordination with customer to establish expectations.
+ Lead in the development of program add-on/follow-on activities including capture planning, program execution strategies, definition of assumptions and ground rules, and developing executable program plans.
+ Typically, the focal point for follow-on, repeat or new-related business development on existing programs within the portfolio or customer set. Collaborates with Capture Managers and business development personnel to maintain and grow services.
+ Participate in proposal preparation activities in support of new business capture opportunities with existing and/or new customers and programs.
+ Lead technical, contracts, and subcontracts staff in monitoring performance of subcontractors performing on the contract.
+ Direct the work of program leads (e.g., Project Managers and Project Engineers) and other designated staff supporting contract execution, delegate critical functions, as required.
+ Provide leadership to the program team, balancing the needs of the program with individual expectations. Be an advocate for career development of members of the program team.
+ Create a motivational environment where team members understand the mission, are fully engaged and empowered to execute, and are recognized for their performance.
+ Resolve conflicts, demands and priorities on assigned programs.
+ Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
+ Perform other duties as necessary.
**On-Site Work Environment:** This position requires regular in-person engagement by working **on-site five days** each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
**Working Conditions:**
+ Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ BS/BA in related field plus 10 years or more related experience.
+ Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
+ A current, active Top Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
+ Proven skills in research or engineering program management.
+ Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to lead groups and give formal presentations.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Advanced degree preferred.
+ Knowledge of experimental laser effects research and laser development highly desired.
+ Experience with business development highly desired.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $1333 - $226667

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

PSFC has set an audacious goal of raising the philanthropic funding needed to make psychedelic therapy available as a medicine.

As the Director of Scientific Research and Partnerships, you will be responsible for building new partnerships with private and public institutions to establish Psychedelic Centers of Excellence for therapist training and clinical practice of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapies. You will foster personal connections with department chairs and heads of development at major Universities and healthcare institutions across the United States, as well as with donors who support those institutions. You understand how institutions work and are adept at navigating institutional politics and power structures. Additionally, you bring clinical expertise to the PSFC organization with practical experiences in clinical operations to strengthen our due diligence on clinical trial grant proposals.

  • Identify and source high-potential institutional prospects through research, strategic outreach, and relationship-building to cultivate new partnerships with academic researchers and institutions
  • Build trusted relationships and champion collaboration with stakeholders in psychedelic medicine
  • As a grantmaker, evaluate incoming grant proposals and provide due diligence on organizations conducting clinical trials
  • Evaluate Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs) on alignment with internal strategic priorities for clinical practice and training
  • Introduce IITs to sponsors who may be able to provide scientific input and or drug product
  • Connect IITs to sponsors who may be able to provide scientific input and/or drug product
  • Build a framework and engagement playbook for clinical partnerships
  • Manage tools to maintain a real-time snapshot of relationships and forecast future opportunities
  • Coordinate with other members of the PSFC team and handle a portion of our shared administrative tasks
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, or management consulting
  • 5+ years of experience working in the healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry
  • Bachelors degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD, biology, bioinformatics, biological engineering or similar)
  • Experience with scientific research in a hospital/academic center or innovation office is a plus
  • Experienced working on clinical trials and drug development through to FDA approval
  • Can balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Are a self-starter and you proactively drive projects toward successful completion
  • Able to lead, motivate and understand the needs of others

We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and execution-focused Chief of Staff to support Investment Banking and Equity Research technology. This individual will act as a key partner and trusted advisor to the executive, helping to drive priorities, manage operational effectiveness, and ensure seamless communication and alignment across multiple technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution : Partner with the Technology Executive to drive strategic initiatives and track progress on key goals and deliverables.

Organizational Management: Maintain the current org structure, monitor headcount, and support workforce planning. Ensure alignment with broader technology and HR strategy.

Budget Oversight: Manage and track the technology budget, including forecasting, actuals, variance analysis, and reporting. Collaborate with Finance to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Vendor Management: Coordinate and oversee strategic vendor relationships, including contract tracking, performance management, and renewal timelines.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.

7+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff, Strategy, Finance, Operations, or Program Management rolepreferably in a financial services or technology organization.

FAST Labs is the research arm of BAE Systems Electronic Systems sector that develops disruptive technologies to tackle the hardest problems in the Defense and Intelligence Communities. We are seeking a Technology Development Manager (TDM) to join the Sonar and Sensor Research (SSR) team within the BAE Systems FAST Labs organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the core technical areas within SSR. These include Acoustic Transducer Development, Advanced Signal Processing, Mission Systems and Payloads, and Underwater Vehicles.
Technology Development Managers partner with Scientists in FAST Labs to lead the design, development, execution, and implementation of algorithms and advanced scientific solutions to complex technical problems. They participate in professional societies, author external publications (like conference papers, presentations, journal articles, and books), develop patents and invention disclosures, speak at external forums, and interact with external partners (industry, government, academia, etc.).
As a TDM within the Sonar and Sensor Research technical area, you will drive key components of the group strategy that, depending on your expertise, may include:
+ Exploitation of innovative transducer geometries and the development of novel active and passive transduction materials to advance the state-of-the-art in sonar transducer technology.
+ Creating and growing opportunities in maritime signal processing and modeling, shaping targeted opportunities in offensive processing and systems, designing innovative algorithms and systems that provide a leap-ahead in ability to detect, track, localize, navigate, communicate, learn, and predict the future in the maritime theater.

+ The development of customized autonomous maritime platforms for special missions, leveraging our team s specialized facilities and experience developing advanced undersea vehicles.
Technology Development Managers work with peers, scientists, and the program support team within the Autonomy, Processing, and Exploitation (APEX) product line while collaborating with other BAE Systems product lines both inside and outside of FAST Labs. TDMs are the primary lead in external and internal customer engagement to build, win, and execute programs supporting advanced technology R&D and are expected to leverage their position, reputation, and technical expertise to build and maintain relationships with government S&T organizations. Additionally, TDMs help define and advance the group s technical and programmatic roadmaps, while maintaining alignment across the broader product line, business area, and corporation at large.
