We are changing the way people think about customer service, and we need your help! We're seeking a Trainer to deliver training modules and run classes for our team members.

Are you a leader with a passion to help people learn? This role is responsible for delivering training materials to our team members using creative teaching techniques. We're looking for a performance-driven individual who is eager to innovate new opportunities for curriculum development. This is a 3 months Contract

As Training Facilitator, You Will.

  • Provide training to new and existing employees
  • Develop and deliver training plans and curriculum to classes of up to 25 people
  • Develop and utilize a variety of creative teaching techniques
  • Develops and administers knowledge assessment testing
  • Assist with QA monitoring, feedback and coaching
  • Maintain up-to-date reporting on training progress, effectiveness and improvements
  • Stay informed of current client products and services
  • Interact with partners, ensuring they understand the training environment, successes and opportunities for development
  • Manage new Trainers and Training Facilitators
  • International Travel is Required
As Training Facilitator, You Have.
  • BS/BA in Education or Business Administration or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to implement these principles into a training curriculum
  • 3+ years previous contact center experience preferred
  • Experience in customer service training
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring
  • Knowledge of existing and emerging training methods and tools
  • Knowledge of call center systems, ACD/IVR and performance statistics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and interact with team members at various position levels
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to develop employees through positive motivation
  • Ability to adapt to change and innovation
  • Ability to potentially travel
  • Skills in MS Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Valid travel documents for international travel

Description

Reporting to the Director of Student Recruitment, this temporary position assists in the implementation and execution of the recruitment plan for the campus and is responsible for participating in recruitment activities, both on and off campus. This position will recruit new students for Mohave Community College's degree and certificate programs to meet enrollment goals and sell the benefits of Mohave Community College's programs and services to prospective students, local school districts, businesses and community agencies.

Individuals in this temporary position are expected to generally be available during the normal business hours of the college, and will occasionally be asked to work non-traditional hours, including holidays and weekends, as needed.
Typical Duties

  1. Participate in recruiting services on and off-campus, personal contacts, college fairs, middle/high school visits, information events, and community activities.
  2. Assist with the development of collaborative relationships with on-campus personnel, local schools, colleges/universities, community agencies, and organizations as they relate to the implementation of the campus recruitment plan.
  3. Assist with the development and implementation of communication and information tools to prospective students in coordination with statewide communications and recruitment efforts.
  4. Assist with the development of admissions and recruitment related materials and disseminate such materials in coordination with statewide communications and recruitment efforts.
  5. Track and strategically follow-up on prospective inquiries and students.
  6. Track and strategically recruit those that have made application to the College to convert to enrollment.
  7. Advise potential students about college programs, processes on campus, and information on admissions; coordinate class selection and arrange the assessment of basic skills, program area skills, and career assessment for new and potential students.
  8. May participate in the enrollment management planning process and assist students with the enrollment process.
  9. Act as a contact for prospective domestic students.
  10. Participate in orientation programs (new and transfer) at the campus.
  11. Attend meetings and serve on committees as assigned.
  12. Adhere to college, federal and state administrative procedures, guidelines, initiatives and directives to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations affecting college operations.
  13. Perform other tasks of a similar nature or level as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution in public relations, business, marketing, or related field
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in an academic setting,
  • Valid current driver's license and acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in public relations, business, marketing or related field.
  • Experience in a community college setting
  • Experience working with underserved student
