Role Overview
The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse or distribution center.
In this role, you will:
- Load and unload product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas within the warehouse
- Read production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to figure out items to be moved, gathered, or distributed within the warehouse or distribution center
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product code
- Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas in the warehouse
- Use equipment such as an RF Gun to find and pick products for order
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to process orders (outbound/inbound), restock facility, follow inventory guidelines, and other tasks as necessary to the successful operation of the distribution center
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items accurately and timely
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department
- Mark materials with identifying information
- Open bales, crates, and other containers
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- Weigh or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards
- Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers
- Inspect products for defects prior to packing for shipping
- Unload trucks and places materials in proper location in the warehouse
- Enter and maintains inventory records in the computer
- Prepare parcels for mailing
- Clean warehouse area and performs routine housekeeping
- Other duties as required and assigned
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
- Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance

The Warehouse Associate/Temporary Driver at United Parcel Service plays a vital role in our operations, combining tasks in both the warehouse and on the road. This position involves physically demanding work such as loading and unloading packages, as well as driving delivery trucks to ensure timely delivery to our customers. We're looking for individuals with strong physical stamina, a valid driver's license, great customer service skills, and the ability to lift heavy packages.
Who are UPS Warehouse Associates/Temporary Drivers?
These dynamic team members contribute both in the warehouse and as drivers of our iconic brown trucks, delivering packages of all sizes to customers. They thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a mix of outdoor activity along with driving.
In your role as a Temporary Driver (TCD), you will:
- Work 8 - 10 hours each day, Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday.
- Demonstrate excellent customer interaction and driving proficiency.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will:
- Typically work 3 - 5 hours each day, Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday.
- Commit to your assigned shift based on operational needs.

- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Stamina for a physically demanding job.
- Valid driver's license, non-CDL required (Type varies by State).
- Pass a DOT physical examination.
