The Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a tenure track neuro-oncologist interested in pursuing an academic career and joining our expanding neuro-oncology program at UW Hospital and Clinics and affiliated locations. This position would be active in multi-disciplinary teams including neurology, medical oncology, neurosurgery, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, neuropsychology, neuropathology, and palliative medicine.

The successful candidate would be involved in neuro-oncology research. Position Description

Fuller Graduate School of Psychology & Marriage and Family Therapy (SoPMFT) is looking for a full- or part-time tenure-track Neuropsychologist. The position is for a Research Neuropsychologist and/or a licensed (or license eligible) Clinical Neuropsychologist (Board certification is preferred), at the Assistant or Associate level.

This person will continue to lead and innovate in the established Neuropsychology Track. Responsibilities will involve teaching graduate level neuropsychology courses and mentoring doctoral student research in clinical neuropsychology. Clinical opportunities for a part-time practice in neuropsych assessment are possible at the school's clinic, Fuller Psychological and Family Services, but would be considered elsewhere in contract negotiations.

This faculty appointment will be in the Department of Clinical Psychology, which is located in Pasadena, CA. Fuller’s Clinical Psychology department offers two degrees: a PhD in clinical psychology (consistent with the scientist-practitioner training model) and a PsyD in clinical psychology (consistent with the practitioner-scholar training model). Both programs are designed to prepare graduates for careers and leadership positions in areas such as academia, private practice, hospitals, and community health clinics, and applied research. The program offers students two optional tracks: the Neuropsychology Track and the Culture and Community Track.

Qualifications

  • A doctoral degree in psychology.
  • Previous teaching in the area of neuropsychology is desired. The successful candidate will offer core and elective courses in the PhD and PsyD in Clinical Psychology programs and mentor doctoral student research.
  • Proven record of research and publication, with ongoing research plans in the area of neuropsychology.
  • Personal, academic, and professional development to effectively serve the culturally, ethnically, racially, and theologically diverse student body of the seminary.

Purpose: The Department of Physics and Engineering Physics at Santa Clara University, a Jesuit, Catholic university, seeks a pool of applicants for two new tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in experimental and computational physics beginning September 1, 2026. The successful candidates must have the demonstrated ability to teach courses across the undergraduate physics curriculum, must be willing to contribute in service commensurate to rank, and must demonstrate a strong commitment to establishing and sustaining an externally-fundable research program that can actively involve undergraduates. The Department of Physics and Engineering Physics is housed in the Sobrato Center for Discovery and Innovation (SCDI), a state-of-the-art teaching and /research facility. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. in physics or a closely related field, as well as postdoctoral research and some teaching experience. The successful candidates must be excellent physicists, self-starters, clear communicators, and talented teachers who can demonstrate the ability to teach effectively and inclusively at the undergraduate level. The new hires must be able to work comfortably and effectively in a collaborative and diverse academic environment. They must be able to build and sustain an active research program that will attract external funding and that can involve undergraduate students. The successful candidates will be expected to balance teaching, scholarship and service responsibilities as a member of the Department and the broader community. RESPONSIBILITIES: Physics tenure track faculty members are expected to be collegial teaching-scholars who can successfully balance a commitment to both quality teaching and a sustained research program that typically involves undergraduates. The successful candidates will also be expected to contribute service to the department, college and/or university as appropriate to rank. This is an in-person position. More specifically, duties include but are not limited to: TEACHING 1. Teach lower- and upper-division courses in the major and university core curriculum, as assigned by the chair. SCU is on the quarter system and a typical load is two courses per quarter. Teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: (a) Conducting and appearing at all assigned class meetings in a timely and prepared manner that demonstrates a command of the discipline and skill in presenting it effectively. (b) Assigning and evaluating written work, projects, and exams that align with course or core learning objectives and providing timely feedback to students. (c) Holding weekly office hours at times reasonably convenient to students. **What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be**
The workload for this position is 40% Teaching/40% Research/20% Service:Teaching:
+ Faculty members are expected to teach an annual workload of 9-10 credits per academic year and to provide instruction as assigned by the Dean or their delegate. Classroom instruction responsibilities include holding class for the entire period for which the class is scheduled (including the final examination period) and evaluating students' work and assigning grades consistent with the policies of the Law School and University. Ongoing curriculum development and planning are also important components of teaching.
Research:
+ Faculty members are expected to research and prepare scholarly publications in their areas of expertise. Faculty members are expected to participate in scholarly and research activities that enhance their professional development and contribute to their disciplines, including by participating in academic conferences.
Service:
+ Faculty members are expected to engage in service to the institution, to students, and to their fields and/or the broader community and the public. University service involves, as appropriate to career stage, membership in departmental, college-level, and university committees; attending departmental meetings; processing routine paperwork; answering email; and participating in surveys. It also involves engaging in the life of the law school and contributing to law school culture and community, including by mentoring students and fostering a culture of inclusivity.
