Position Summary:

The Terminal Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the terminal employees and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure customer deliveries are timely and efficient. Additionally, as a member of the terminal leadership team, you will be tasked with teaching and further developing policies and procedures within the framework of the “Pyle Culture.”

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Developing the workforce by setting clear expectations, training, coaching and providing feedback
• Performing employee reviews; documenting corrective action as needed
• Participating in the interview and hire processes; providing constructive feedback on hiring decisions
• Building pickup and delivery routes in the Pyle ERP system by assigning delivery stops within geographic area that ensures operational efficiency and customer delivery expectations are met
• Ensuring all established unloading and loading processes are followed. Providing feedback and training to employees as necessary to ensure the safety of all employees
• Reviewing load plan(s) and HAZMAT loading to ensure driver safety and DOT requirements
• Ensuring all shipments are manifested and stowed properly to ensure damage-free transit
• Generating and maintaining daily, monthly, and quarterly reports that support dock operations
• Being accountable for Pyle Priority Shipments within the operation

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

• Terminal, transportation, and/or warehouse related experience; dispatch and or routing experience preferred
• Prior experience in a supervisory or management position preferred but not required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma, GED equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills
• Ability to display a sense of urgency; able to excel under pressure while operating with a high attention to detail
• Willingness to work first, second or third shifts as requested

Project Manager Terminal Operations Support

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Project Manager to support ongoing terminal operations and capital improvement initiatives at the Terminal. This individual will work closely with terminal partners, stakeholders, contractors, and airport tenants to ensure smooth execution of construction activities in an active terminal environment. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience with PANYNJ projects and a solid understanding of airport operations, safety protocols, and terminal logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between Terminal Operations, leadership, and capital project delivery teams
• Support planning and execution of capital improvements within a live terminal setting with minimal disruption to passengers and operations
• Participate in project coordination meetings, track progress, and report on milestones.
• Review project schedules, logistics plans, and phasing strategies for constructability and operational impacts
• Monitor contractor activities for compliance with airport safety, security, and operational protocols
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including leadership, contractors, PANYNJ, and concessionaires
• Assist with field inspections, punch lists, and closeout documentation
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies related to terminal access, utilities, and passenger circulation

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in capital projects, preferably within aviation or transportation environments
• Prior experience working on Port Authority of NY & NJ projects or familiarity with PANYNJ standards is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience managing or supporting projects in operating public facilities such as terminals or transportation hubs
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work across diverse teams.
• Proficient in MS Office, scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6), and document control systems
• OSHA 30, airfield access or SIDA badge eligibility preferred

Amazon's US Consumables team is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to lead a team of supply chain managers within the Household Goods category. Our mission is to serve and delight customers by having the right product quantities, in the right place, at the right time. The supply chain team focuses on end-to-end supply chain management for the category, including managing operations relationships with Vendors, ensuring inventory health, and collaborating with Vendors and internal stakeholders on strategic initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency, to provide products to customers with best-in-class speed, and to reduce costs and waste.
A successful candidate will be a strong communicator across teams and Vendors, with executive leadership, and with their direct reports. They will be able to balance the day-to-day requirements of the role while also driving improvements to key metrics such as in-stock rates, confirmation rates, and lead times. Key job responsibilities
- Lead a team of supply chain managers focused on Vendor relationships and category-wide initiatives
- Plan and execute inventory strategies to optimize sales, in-stock rates, turns, and inventory health for owned category
- Set goals for supply chain KPIs and monitor/report on progress; for example, in-stock rate, lead time, confirmation rate, fill rate, and ship costs
- Participate in business reviews with your Vendors; identify operational improvement areas and recommend and oversee efforts to improve supply chain efficiency
- Communicate category supply chain strategy and KPI results to retail leadership
- Drive root cause analysis/reporting on operational issues, develop action plans, and project manage improvements with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Work with internal teams to drive process improvements that affect purchasing and procurement workflows
- Consistently raise the bar on team effectiveness by leading trainings, coaching team members, and setting team goals and expectations
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years experience in retail supply chain, vendor management, strategy consulting, or related fields
- Strong proficiency in data and analysis tools including Microsoft Excel and SQL
- Experience successfully coaching and developing others
- Demonstrated ability to set a strategy and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment - prioritization, planning and task delegation
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, or advanced degrees in Operations Management or related field
- Experience in building and managing teams
- Experience with international supply chain management
