Job Summary
The Cafe Manager will oversee daily food service operations, ensuring high standards of excellence are consistently met. This individual will supervise and coach associates, manage financial and operational goals, and foster a culture of reliability, flexibility, and leadership. The schedule includes a mix of shifts, including weekends and overnight (graveyard) coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Hires, trains, supervises, and develops team members
+ Oversees daily cafe operations and ensures compliance with sanitation, safety, and food quality standards
+ Manages inventory, including receiving, restocking, and storage
+ Maintains accurate temperature logs and ensures food safety protocols are followed
+ Plans and promotes special events and cafe initiatives
+ Operates within budget and identifies opportunities for operational improvement
+ Leads team meetings and promotes effective communication and collaboration
+ Adapts to shifting priorities and supports a flexible work environment
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 1-3 years of relevant food service management experience
+ Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, or healthcare settings
+ Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
+ Self-motivated and able to manage responsibilities independently
+ Knowledge of cash handling and food service equipment operations
+ Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet use
+ ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred
+ Reliable and flexible, with availability for weekends and overnight shifts

Job Description
Tesla is seeking a dynamic and agile individual to support the ever evolving and growing global business. As part of Tesla's Global Security Operations Center team, this contributing role is responsible for assessing, troubleshooting, and triaging inbound emergency and routine calls for security support. The ideal candidate has a bias for action, is trustworthy, and consistently demonstrates excellence.
Reporting to the GSOC Associate Manager, this position has a diverse set of responsibilities hybridizing that of a security operator, business intelligence and threat analyst, and customer service representative. They will regularly communicate with stakeholders and must be comfortable making independent judgements when time is of the essence. This role in based in Fremont, CA and has an in-person requirement.
What You'll Do- Coordinate with security teams and other partners during emergency and routine events; dispatching external agencies when required both local and globally
- Conduct investigative video or other investigative reviews and provide reports
- Monitor all systems used within the operation and triage/escalate alarms or alerts accordingly
- Monitor open-source and other intelligence gathering tools to identify potential threats to Tesla and its assets
- Author and distribute emergency or business critical advisories/alerts including; risk assessments for travel, geographic market, escalating events, natural disasters, threat assessments, and other events as deemed of business interest
- Support the travel team with travel safety monitoring, secured transportation arrangements, and high-risk travel coordination
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of experience in physical security operations, risk management, lossprevention, emergency preparedness or law enforcement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in other languages is a plus
- Demonstrates an independent problem-solving analytical mindset
- Must be able to obtain a security license, valid driver's license required, travel as required and have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Familiarity as an end user with various security systems and technologies; video management/review systems, electronic access control, emergency notifications, alarms, and standard office software
- Ability to remain calm, appropriately triage/multi-task, and handle high stress situations in a fast-paced environment

We're looking for senior software engineers like you to bring your talent to our team and build the Tesla app together with us.
The Tesla App is used by everyone that interacts with Tesla products. Our team builds the core end-user app experience for Tesla's Energy Products: Solar, Powerwall, Megapack, and Home EV Charging.
The goal of our app is to make the concepts of renewable energy friendly, simple, and understandable for everybody, while also offering surprising depth for our power users. For example, with Charge Stats our feature for evaluating the cost of charging your Tesla vehicle-we help owners understand the basics of EV charging, along with the money saved by switching to an EV. Our app's home screen also features rich 3D graphics that show what your home is doing in real time-drawing the wires to show you what your home is powered by right now and how much power you're using. We also help support utility grids worldwide with our Tesla Virtual Power Plant products that improve the stability of the grid people who don't yet own Tesla own products, and unlock extra value for those who do.
The Tesla App is built with TypeScript, React Native, and the Godot 3D Engine. We partner closely with our hardware, firmware, software, and cloud teams as we build sophisticated products and shape the future of the electric grid. We move quickly with an emphasis on data contracts via protocol buffers to build synchronously with other teams.

What You'll Do- Build the secure, intuitive, fast, and beautiful app for Tesla's Solar, Powerwall, and Vehicle owners
- Quickly take on new concepts ranging from controlling battery storage to visualizing energy telemetry and value, and apply your knowledge to leave the world better than you found it
- Push your first PR with your own code to the Tesla app in your first week
- Form protobuf data contracts with partner teams for the pragmatic implementation of scalable features designed in concert with engineering, product, and design teams
- Own a portion of the Tesla app and care about its overall quality and performance, write documentation, and review code contributed by team members building in your space
- Obsess over keeping processes, code, and tooling as safe, fast, and beautiful as our app, and bring other teams up to our high standards, so we enjoy our work experience while we build something our users love
- Use first principles thinking to continually optimize processes and practices, for the purpose of providing better experiences for customers, faster
- 3-5+ years of experience shipping secure, fast, and pixel-perfect mobile apps for iOS and Android, with a preference for experience building cross-platform apps with React Native
- Excellent knowledge of any modern programming language (TypeScript, Golang, Swift, Kotlin, Scala, Rust, C++, etc.)
- Professional or personal experience building products or experiences in one of the following domains is nice to have:Renewable energy, IoT or Matter apps, novel UI and data visualization concepts, 3D video games on mobile platforms, or cross-platform UI design system packages
