We're seeking a seasoned Test Automation Lead with deep hands-on expertise and a strategic mindset. In this role, you'll architect and drive automated testing initiatives across web, API, and SaaS platforms, ensuring the delivery of high-quality (re)insurance applications. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and report directly to the IT Quality Assurance Leader.

Your skills and abilities should include:

  • 8+ years of experience in QA/testing with at least 2 years in a lead role.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in automated regression with web, API, and SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of insurance domain processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency in tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and/or certification with ACCELQ or similar.
  • Experience with Guidewire, DXC, Duck Creek, or other insurance platforms.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in insurance.

SALARY: The estimated salary range for this position is $25,000 per year to 135,000 per year. This is a good-faith assessment of the salary range for this position only. In determining the actual salary within this range, SiriusPoint will consider a candidate's relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors.

+ Lead test automation for Information Research Business Applications, ensuring systems are automated & scalable for business needs while enhancing user experience.

Qualifications
Education & Experience

Of experience required, must have 5 years with each of the following:
+ managing multiple projects, collaborating with project teams, interfacing with clients, & deploying technology to build successful solutions for scientists & business stakeholders;
+ working cross functionally with business stakeholders & technical project teams to develop an automation approach to address business needs & presenting, in writing & orally , solutions to the business;
+ validating, testing & building automation frameworks for enterprise multi-tier applications including: COTS, AWS Cloud, Custom Development & SaaS; &
+ leading large multi part project initiatives, from initiation to delivery, with cross-functional global teams.
Must have 2 years with each of the following:
+ developing test automation scripts using Tosca, Jira, & qTest;
+ performing data & system testing using Waterfall, Agile & DevOps methodologies; &
+ performing queries using Oracle, SQL & MySQL.
Work experience may be gained concurrently.
Hybrid (onsite 3 days a week/ 2 days WFH/remote).

Key Responsibilities
+ Lead quality assurance efforts for multiple concurrent projects focused on data ingestion and integration, ensuring alignment with banking regulatory standards.

+ Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies covering System Integration Testing (SIT) and closely partner with the team for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

+ Drive continuous improvement in QA processes
+ Design and implement a scalable test automation framework and strategy.
+ Create daily/weekly test execution metrics and status reporting.

+ Leverage existing tools/techniques to streamline and automate wherever possible.
+ Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance.

+ Analyze data, troubleshoot data issues, and create action plans to address data quality issues.
+ Collaborate with project team on defect analysis and triage.
+ Participate in production implementation verification and being accountable for validating system quality
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 5+ years of ETL testing experience in data warehouse environment
+ 3+ years of test automation experience
+ 2+ years of experience with Snowflake and AWS
+ 2+ Experience leading QA Analysts on a project team
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in financial services (banking) industry.
+ Strong experience with SQL, ETL testing, and data warehouse concepts (e.g., star/snowflake schema, OLAP)
+ Proficiency in test automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, PyTest, or DBT tests.
+ Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS).
+ Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps).
+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
+ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
+ Detail oriented and highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
