Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineers for a 6 month contract role with our client. This role is 100% remote.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated testing and monitoring frameworks with a focus on Grafana-based performance testing (k6) and Selenium-driven functional/UI testing. This role will ensure application quality, performance, and reliability by developing robust automated test pipelines, integrating monitoring solutions, and enabling proactive detection of issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated UI and functional test suites using Selenium
  • Develop and execute performance and load tests using k6, integrated with Grafana for visualization and alerting
  • Build and maintain Grafana dashboards for real-time and historical test result analysis
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation
  • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Engineering teams to define test strategies, performance benchmarks, and coverage goals
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and partner with development teams for resolution
  • Provide technical support to QA engineers on test automation and performance testing best practices
  • Document processes, test plans, performance baselines, and monitoring configurations

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in automated test development
  • Proven expertise in Selenium for UI and functional testing
  • Experience with k6 for performance and load testing, including integration with Grafana
  • Strong background in building and maintaining Grafana dashboards, panels, and alert rules
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript preferred)
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST-assured
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze logs, metrics, and distributed systems

Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience setting up synthetic monitoring using Selenium or Grafana Cloud Synthetic Monitoring
  • Familiarity with Prometheus and other observability tools
  • Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Compensation :

Hourly W2 pay: $60.00 to $68.00/hour

Set and maintain quality standards for company products through the use of systematic processes. Develops, modifies, and executes software test strategies, plans and suites. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Education and Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of Hands-on experience with wireless access point validation.
  • Strong understanding of routing and switching concepts (VLAN, DHCP, DNS, NAT).

M365 Program team is responsible for overseeing the testing, integration, and change management of the Microsoft 365 suite of tools across the enterprise. As the program continues to scale, the team is expanding and seeking a skilled Test Engineer / QA Analyst to support ongoing initiatives.

Responsibilities

Create and optimize test processes including defect management and reporting.

  • Contribute to building quality into the System Design Lifecycle (SDLC) using best practices and tools.

  • Create a test automation strategy across the application stack (UI, API, and Backend, etc.).

  • Create and optimize test automation frameworks and use of test automation tools.

  • Lead test planning for complex features that span across the platform or multiple teams.

  • Ensure alignment and sign oƯ for test cases from business and other stakeholders.

  • Optimize test suites employing techniques such risk-based testing.

  • Manage test execution and assist with resolving, communicating or escalating any issues that may result in test plan variance.

  • Contribute to test data management approach, processes and tools.

  • Condition and generate test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments. Assist in identifying and managing sensitive test data.

  • Participate in triaging reported issues/defects and assist with resolving or escalating them as necessary.

  • Create and manage traceability. Trace tests forwards/backwards through the design lifecycle and back to requirements.

  • Use testing tools and follow processes to complete testing on a given test environment and assist with fulfilment of necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environments.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of design and execute manual test plans for Microsoft 365 packages across Windows Workstation, AppVol, and MacOS, ensuring functionality, compatibility, and stability.

  • Develop and maintain manual test cases and scenarios aligned with business requirements and technical specifications across M365 applications.

  • Perform defect tracking and root cause analysis, collaborating with engineering and packaging teams to ensure timely resolution and quality assurance.

  • Manage test documentation and reporting, including test results, issue logs, and daily status updates to stakeholders.

As a QA Engineer, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
• Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

Minimum Degree Required:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Communicating effectively across multiple levels and geographies;

• Developing new quality assurance practices and processes used by System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology; and,
• Leveraging technical specialization in design and implementation of complex QA testing techniques including automated testing using Selenium and SpecFlow, with experience in C#, JavaScript, Angular, Microservices/REST APIs, jQuery, Entity framework, LINQ query and .NET preferred;
• Build, maintain and grow test automation infrastructure;
• Experience with CI/CD;
• Should be familiar with SQL to write & execute queries against Microsoft SQL Server.
