Summary: The Testing & Commissioning Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and executing the testing, commissioning, and validation of systems, equipment, and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, design, installation, and project management teams to deliver fully operational systems on time and within budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop detailed testing and commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules. Coordinate with client, contractors, vendors, and project teams for pre-commissioning requirements.
- Review each system of design drawings (Include: Equipment Schedule and P&ID drawings) to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Perform Validation Field walks of all Equipment status and record data into UIS CxAlloy equipment tracking application.
- Perform on-site testing and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and/or specialized systems.
- Ensure proper functionality, safety, and performance of systems in accordance with project specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues during the commissioning phase and provide solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of testing and commissioning activities, including results and observations in MEP, Cleanroom, PCW (Process Cooling Water), HVAC, and AAS (Air Abatement) systems.
- Prepare and submit commissioning reports and certificates for client approval. Perform daily site visits.
- Ensure adherence to Owner RFP requirements, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures during commissioning activities.
- Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and site supervisors to ensure alignment of objectives.
- Provide training and handover documentation to the client or end-users.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED and/or Trade school.
- 1-3+ years of proven experience as a Field Coordinator in Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Medical, Oil/Gas, or other related Construction.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Testing and Commissioning methodology and processes.
- Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and transportation requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.
- Ability to learn and comprehend BIM 360 and CxAlloy software.
- High level of attention to detail, and highly organized.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.

Proficiency:

Additional Requirements:
- Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for transporting documents, equipment, and other materials as needed. The role involves extended periods standing, walking and/or of sitting while working at a computer. Frequent movement between the construction trailer and various areas of the construction site is necessary.
The position is based at the construction job site (trailer office). Even though the exposure of hazardous work conditions would be minimal, the employee may be required to visit the work area of the jobsite and thus be exposed to some typical work hazards that may be present on a construction site, such as dust, moving machineries, weather, caustic chemicals, noise etc. UIS would provide the required safety protection to ensure the safety of UIS employees and comply with all OSHA standards.

Program Load Tap Changing (LTC) and voltage regulator controllers.
