**Your future duties and responsibilities:**
- Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for projects, defining the scope, objectives, and approach for testing efforts.
- Test Execution: Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and effectively, and analyze test results to identify defects.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Defect Management: Identify, track, and manage defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution and verification of fixes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that software products meet quality standards and project requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
- Communication: Effectively communicate testing progress, status, and issues to stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and clients.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $214,800.00.

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for reviewing business requirements and translating them into testing requirements. As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist within PNC's Lending Technology Credit Card Processing Rewards organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Miamisburg, OH, Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.
As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for reviewing business requirements and translating them into testing requirements. Additionally, you will attend various project meetings, follow our application development topics, as well as provide input to testing requirements as the project progresses. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will also be responsible for serving as a mentor for other members of the team. Specific job duties may include the following:
-Test Planning & Strategy
-Develop, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements for both Java and mainframe applications.
-Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to define comprehensive test strategies for end-to-end solutions.
-Manual & Automated Testing
-Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing for Java-based applications built using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
-Execute tests for mainframe systems, including COBOL-based applications and JCL job flows.
-Design and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG for web and API testing or equivalent.
-Utilize RestAssured or Postman for validating RESTful services.

-Run and validate jobs on the mainframe.
-Knowledge of JCL in an MVS environment.

-Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring clear documentation and prioritization.
