Insight Global's client is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with a passion for ensuring high-quality software to join their Product & Engineering team. The QA Engineer will play a crucial role in scaling platforms and delivering cutting-edge capabilities to customers across web application, multiple mobile apps, and publicly consumed APIs. The QA Engineer will lead and collaborate heavily with software engineers and product managers and be directly involved with the growth of the product organization to deliver and scale a transformational software product.
Responsibilities include:
Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, defect tracking, and risk-based testing.
- Proficient with automated testing tools (RSpec, Capybara, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) and maintaining robust test suites for frontend and backend.
- Skilled in API testing using Postman, Insomnia, or Karate; experience with REST and GraphQL, including authentication and error handling.
- Familiar with CI/CD integration, deployment workflows, and rollback strategies.
- Strong debugging and log analysis skills; experience inspecting databases (PostgreSQL) and queue-based systems (Sidekiq).
Process & Leadership
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and improving QA processes (bug triage, release workflows).
- Advocates for shift-left testing and QA involvement early in development.
- Able to drive team adoption of QA best practices and mentor team members on automated testing.
- Owns QA function within a squad and drives release readiness and production validation workflows.
Collaboration & Communication
- Works closely with developers, product managers, and designers.

A Fortune 200 client in looking to add a QA Engineer to their team! The ideal candidate will develop and maintain a product test environment that supports quality assurance testing of releases and patches as well as be challenged to develop innovative automated test cases and develop the processes and tools needed to influence and improve the quality of the Calibre xACT product.
In this role, you will be working on Calibres parasitic extraction software product in the Design to Silicon business unit. These products deliver accurate parasitic data for comprehensive post-layout analysis and simulation of integrated circuit designs. The team you'll be joining is responsible for testing, debugging and qualifying software releases and updates. Your responsibility will involve the design, development, and execution of application-specific functional and regression tests used to measure the quality, robustness, performance, and usefulness of these products in our customer's semiconductor design flows. You'll collaborate with Sr Software Engineers, QA Specialists, Marketing, & Customer Support team members to help deliver timely product releases for our customers.
