Prevailance is seeking a full-time Testing Officer to support Surface Warfare Engineering Schools Command (SWESC) and PMS 339 Specialized Engineering. The Testing Officer shall be responsible for ensuring testing materials are ready to support all SWESC Great Lakes courses as well as provide test items formatted in accordance with NAVEDTRA 132 Navy School Testing Management Manual. This is a highly visible position both in our company and for the SWESC.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Ensures testing materials are ready to support all SWESC Great Lakes courses.
• Ensures tests are administered in accordance with the testing plan established by the course curriculum model manager.
• Manage all aspects of the proctor services for all SWESC Great Lakes courses.
• Ensures all tests are properly graded, associated reports are printed and the analysis generated by the automated system to support course testing and student tracking requirements
• Oversee the generation of the Test Item Analysis reports annually for SWESC Great Lakes ‘C’ schools
• Oversees the overall security of all testing materials
• Conducts test item analysis for all accession level courses at SWESC Great Lakes using the automated test item analysis from the Moodle LMS
• Provides Testing and Evaluation Reports
• Process all reports from the automated system and provide to the Academic Review Board

Experience:

• Minimum three (3) years' technical experience in the subject matter hired to instruct
• Minimum two (2) years' experience in a Military Training Environment
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience developing administrative process productivity tools

Qualifications:

• Navy Engineering-rate background
• Master Training Specialist qualified
• Experience as a curriculum manager / course supervisor
• Comprehensive knowledge in database management
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Advanced level of both oral and written communication skills

About the team:

We're looking for an experienced Senior Engineer Software Testing who can contribute to building our product with high quality. You will be a founding member of the Quality Engineering discipline at Airbase and will have an opportunity to make a big impact with ownership. Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts that meet organization standards.
• Build reliable, reusable, and maintainable automated regression suites & test harness.
• Create tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios.
• Design and develop test plans, test cases based on functional and design specifications, execute test cases.
• Monitor the stability and execution status of test suites.
• Perform exploratory manual testing as needed in service of automation testing.
• Follow, Identify and implement best practices/opportunities to improve the software testing process.
• Work as a part of the engineering team to analyse the functionality of the applications and design automated tests to validate functional and non- functional requirements.

What You'll Bring

• 5 - 6 years of experience in software testing or development with a goodunderstanding of testing, coding, and debugging procedures.

• Experience in the design and development of automated tests using automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium) with exposure to testing across the application layers (UI/Service/Data layers) and root cause analysis.

Overview

Responsible for the administration of off-site placement testing. Facilitates the set up process for off-site testing and works closely in data loads into the campus ERP system including the creation of and auditing of person and testing electronic records. Through the use of technology, provides a clear process for training new employees. Assists staff with the day-to-day operations of the Testing Center including the administration, proctoring and scoring of tests.   Pay Transparecy Verbiage :

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $51,600 to $68,700 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
