**Job Description:**
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Huntsville / Madison, Alabama has an opening for a Project Management/ Principal Project Management. Selected candidate oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. **Roles and responsibilities:**
Acting as the primary liaison between Huntsville Operations and the Program Manager (PM) with regards to assigned project or project area.
-Working with the PM and Engineering, Manufacturing & Logistics leads to ensure products can be efficiently manufactured by the manufacturing team, and that the production is consistent with existing tools and techniques.
-CAM (Control Account Manager) managing Earned Value, including planning and monitoring assigned projects using standard project monitoring techniques and keeping EM&L management updated on issues impacting the manufacturing quality, cost and schedule performance.
-Maintaining an accurate Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) ensuring alignment with project master schedule.
-Providing roll-up status of manufacturing activities to the PM/DPM as input to the for the overall program.
-Achieving targeted cost and schedule requirements.
-Resolving scheduling conflicts with PM/DPM and helping determine best way forward when issues or delays cause for re-planning of activities.
-Leading change control for the products to resolve issues/defects in production quickly and effectively including working with Process Team Leaders to resolve out-of-cycle scenarios in a timely manner.
-Working with the PM/DPM to ensure on time delivery of engineering and design information to manufacturing to meet production quality, cost, and schedule.
-Working with Global Supply Chain (GSC) and Supplier Quality to ensure technical information is accurate and timely to and from vendors, and expediting material issues and receipts.
-Supporting required activities to ensure compliance with provided requirements and delivery dates for production to meet customer delivery of final product.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ **For a level 2:** Bachelors degree plus 2 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, engineering, and/or program management. 0 year with masters.
+ **For a** **level 3** : Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, engineering, and/or program management. 2 years with Master's degree. 1 year with PHD
+ Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities as evidenced by prior experience leading a team or project in a production environment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $70,600.00 - $05,800.00

The Marathon Los Angeles Refinery located in Carson; CA has an opening for a Project Management - Project Engineering. Education, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Requirements
+ Must have a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.(Education must be obtained/completed prior to start date) (Degree must be accredited in US.)
+ Must have at least 8 years of combined experience as an Engineer and a Project Manager in a refinery, petro-chemical or other heavy related industry.
+ Must have at least 2 years of Project Management experience in a refining or petrochemical plant and other heavy industry.
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft: Word, Excel and Outlook.
+ Must have strong planning and coordinating skills.
+ Must be able to wear appropriate PPE in the refinery (respirator), be able to physically perform all tasks in the field and take hair drug test and physical.
+ Must have a valid driver's license. (MPC determines valid status.)

This position is a valued member of MnDOT District 1's Project Management team. Under limited supervision, this position provides overall project management direction from inception to completion of all MnDOT transportation projects in District 1. This position will be the primary project contact for other public agencies and the general public regarding project activities. This position will provide overall direction and leadership to technical project teams in the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques in the management of project activities for minor to moderate scale projects to meet the project requirements. This position will manage consultants and ensure consistency with MnDOT strategy, commitments and goals as well as ensure proper program execution and compliance with MnDOT, state and federal procedures, practices, regulations, and standards. This position will facilitate in-person public meetings in District 1, which may take place after core business hours on an occasional basis.
This position is located in the Duluth Headquarters Office in Duluth, MN and may have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.

**Minimum Qualifications**
NOTE: This will be used to fill two (2) vacancies and is being announced at two different job classes at the same time: Engineer Senior and Engineer 2 Graduate. The final class and starting salary of this position is dependent on the successful applicant's qualifications.
**Minimum Qualifications for Engineer Senior:**
To qualify for Engineer Senior, applicants must meet all the following:
+ Licensure as a professional Civil Engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design (AELSLAGID). (If obtaining licensure through Comity, a temporary permit from AELSLAGID must be provided to MnDOT HR prior to starting employment.)
+ Valid Class D Driver's License.
**Minimum Qualifications for Engineer 2 Graduate:**
To qualify for Engineer 2 Graduate, applicants must meet all the following:
+ A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university or its equivalency as rated by NCEES/EAC.
+ A passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
+ Two years post-graduation civil engineering work.
+ Valid Class D Driver's License
OR
+ Received a passing score on the Minnesota Principals & Practices of Civil Engineering (PE) Exam.
**NOTE:**
+ A master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university substitutes for one year of post-graduate civil engineering work.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience planning, designing and/or constructing highway projects.
+ Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
+ Knowledge of project schedule development.
+ Knowledge of MnDOT policies, procedures and state and federal rules and regulations.
**Physical Requirements**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use wrists, hands, and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is intermittently required to work outside exposed to the weather elements (both hot and cold). Periodically, the employee may walk on even and uneven/sloping ground. The employee may visit work zones with high volume traffic in day and night time conditions.
