**Responsibilities:**
+ Plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing engineering projects related to textile components.

**Education and/ or Experience Required:**
+ BS degree in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field required.

+ Strong knowledge of textile materials, processing (e.g., knitting, weaving, heat setting), and testing.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead projects and cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.

**What will you do?**
A day in the life of a Textile Designer at Smartwool looks a little like this.
The 3D Textile Designer works with the Senior Designer in the design, creation, and delivery of brand right print and knit patterns to be used in socks lines that support the strategic initiatives. **Experience**
**Required**
+ 2-3 years: Relevant working knowledge of operating, maintaining, troubleshooting fabric welding equipment and/or sewing machines to fabricate and assemble various textile products
