**What You Will Do**
As a textile process development engineering intern, you will be a part of the advanced operations team to work on design concepts for product commercialization programs. You will identify and implement best in class manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies and develop technical knowledge on soft good materials. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and apply textile and soft goods manufacturing principles and their impact on medical device creation and commercialization.
**Majors Targeted:** Textile Engineering
**What You Need**
· Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
· Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
· Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
· Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
$19.50 min hourly wage - $34.50 max hourly wage, sign-on bonus, paid holidays, and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location.
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.

Required Qualifications:- High school diploma plus 5 years in textile/softgoods capacity OR Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design or equivalent field.- Track record of successful collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.- Competency in CAD applications and related software including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.- Proven ability to independently develop solutions for complex design problems while leveraging expertise from technical colleagues.- Proficiency across diverse hands-on manufacturing techniques and equipment- industrial sewing equipment, laser cutting systems, fabric bonding tools, 3D printing, cutting tools, drilling equipment, manual tools, etc.- Background in textile development laboratory setting with focus on design and manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in industrial design, Fashion Design, or related discipline.- Additional background in manufacturing, evaluation, or design methodologies that support advancement of spacesuit technology development.- Knowledge of textile and fabric testing methodologies.- Hands-on experience with prototype manufacturing processes for textile products.- Knowledge of NASA/JSC softgoods design and development.- Background in aerospace development processes including interpretation and creation of technical fabrication documentation.- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, and Rhino software platforms.
