**What You'll Do**
+ Collaborate with the production team (VFX Supervisor, Senior Texture Artist) to achieve the desired look for complex CG models, including creatures, hard surface models (ships, vehicles), and environments
+ Create high quality textures for both organic and hard surface assets used in production
+ Participates as a team member in determining various design solutions; provides feedback to other members of the production by attending dailies on a regular basis
+ Work closely with VFX Supervisor, Modelers, and Look Development TD's in achieving desired look of Photo real models
+ Maintain or exceeds consistent level of efficiency while meeting scheduled targets and producing high-quality work
**What We're Looking For**
+ A minimum of three years of professional VFX experience and a college diploma or higher in computer graphics, fine arts, design, photography, or a related field are required; or five years of professional VFX experience may be substituted for education
+ A demo reel and/or portfolio showcasing painting, illustration, or design skills and experience is required
+ Familiarity with film production and computer graphics is expected
+ Detail-oriented and a quick learner, with the ability to readily absorb new information
+ Proficient in Mari, Substance, Zbrush, Photoshop. Experience navigating complex CG pipelines is essential
+ Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
+ You are a proactive and collaborative team member, eager to contribute your skills
+ Bonus points for modeling skills, Feature Animation experience, and an understanding of shaders and Renderman
The hiring range for this position in San Francisco, CA is $64,300 to $148,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
