It’s the first notes of that song you love, the intro to your favorite movie, or simply the sound of someone you love saying “hello.” It’s in these moments that sound matters most. At Bose, we believe sound is the most powerful force on earth. We’ve dedicated ourselves to improving it for nearly 60 years. And we’re passionate down to our bones about making whatever you’re listening to a little more magical. The Marketing team at Bose consists of passionate, bold, and music-loving storytellers. We tap into the magic of what makes Bose, BOSE, and through our marketing efforts, connect that magic with people who relate to our belief that sound is the most powerful force on earth. Job Description At Bose, we believe sound is the most powerful force on earth - it lets people get more out of any moment, any situation, and more out of life. That’s why we create amazing audio products and are obsessed with getting every detail just right to ‘wow’ our customers. It’s why we’re always looking for people who love to explore, dare to fail, and continuously improve; those who sweat the details and are contagiously curious in their pursuit of the best ideas. Our Creative Department is a part of the global marketing team and we’re on a mission to unleash the potential of the brand. And we’re looking for a passionate Associate Creative Director (ACD) Digital/Art to join us. As an ACD at Bose you’ll lean on well-honed instincts to ideate meaningful, impactful experiences on Bose owned and third-party platforms, clearly communicate your ideas and rationale, and keep the customer at the center of your thinking. You know how to concept and execute for large brands and platforms; you are at home in the digital space and know how to make best use of all its capabilities and communicate across all its different platforms. And you’re able to inspire, grow and lead others to do the same. You’ll work as part of a team of Creative Leads, Art Directors, Copywriters, Designers, Producers, Marketing Partners, and others inside and outside of Bose to ideate and deliver creative that gets results – from product pages, editorial content, emails, social media, in-app messaging, landing pages and more. What describes you: You’ve got ideas. Lots of them. You are always looking to find inspiration and insights to shape your ideas. You consider ideas both strategically and tactically, translating briefs into undeniable creative concepts, and concepts into effective campaigns and impactful digital experiences. Ideally, you have a broad experience in marketing communications/advertising across print, broadcast, and digital. More importantly: you have worked at digital agencies or did digital at advertising agencies. You have done platforms, e-com, banner-ads, landing-pages, campaign micro-sites, content for social, short-form and long-form. You know how to work within a brand, and you have the confidence to push the boundaries and sell your ideas. You preach the power of design. You know it is more than moving pixels, it’s about moving people. Emotionally and behaviorally. We're looking for an ACD whose love of the craft goes beyond self-expression but is all in service of our marketing goals, our brand expression and connected to culture. You love people in all their diversity. You love collaboration and have strong communication skills that ensure you understand, relate to and connect with our customers - and your team. You can lead and inspire others and are charismatic and confident in presentations. You have a contagious curiosity for all-things digital, from trends, to apps, to emerging tech. You challenge yourself both personally and professionally. You ask great questions, listen deeply, and go wherever the answers might lead you. You want to grow. You are always learning and progressing. You welcome informed debate and will passionately defend your decisions. You’re eager to learn things you don’t already know. And you’re open to failing. When you get it wrong, you learn from it and come out stronger. You’re confident that there’s something unique only you could bring to our team. What you bring: About 8-10 years' experience; that said, your work is more important to us than your years. A love for music, and in touch with culture. Multi-faceted creative with 7+ years of Digital/Ad-Agency experience and proven track record of developing impactful work. Experience working for leading brands. The confidence to concept and execute campaigns that answer a brief and convincingly present and sell your ideas directly to stakeholders. Experience leading work across both creative and production tasks. Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects with ease.
