As a UI/UX developer of an Agile team you will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered designs and developing responsive, interactive user interfaces that are maintainable, efficient and reliable as part of a dynamic and passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). You will bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technical and procedural at the team and portfolio levels. Requirements

  • Experience working collaboratively to communicate effectively through websites and web applications that are easy for real people to use and responsive across all device viewports
  • 5 + years’ experience in UI/UX development
  • Professional experience with enterprise UI design tools such as Figma (preferred), or similar tools
  • Professional experience communicating designs with stakeholders such as product owners, end users, development teams, and management
  • Ability to understand trade-offs between designs, technical feasibility, and maintenance
  • Proficiency in development and maintenance of web applications using React, Angular, JavaScript, browser technologies such as HTML, HTTP and CSS and JavaScript framework such as Kendo UI.
