Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Marketing Specialist assists in designing and refining marketing strategies to engage prospective audiences.

Participates in creating marketing proposals and comprehensive reports.

Organizes and executes marketing events to elevate brand across target audience.

Oversees production and dissemination of marketing collateral, across multiple marketing channels.

Performs market research to identify and connect with potential audiences.
-
Manages marketing database updates for precise audience targeting.
-
Maintains and may develop email marketing campaigns, assessing their effectiveness.
-
Assists in developing and executing compelling multi-channel communication strategies to enhance user engagement.
-
Performs analysis and adapts to the effectiveness of social and digital media efforts.
-
Audits social media for brand alignment and reach maximization.
-
Stays abreast with social media trends, incorporating them into strategies.
-
Recognized as the subject matter expert (SME) as it relates to social media.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Solid foundation in marketing; agency background welcomed.

Exceptional communication abilities and a talent for fostering relationships.
-
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
-
Experience with Asana and Google Analytics is a plus.

Emory University is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join the Candler School of Theology as an Admissions Advisor. This key role focuses on recruiting for Candler's distinguished two-year master's programs, including those geared towards individuals discerning a call to vocational ministry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in identifying and engaging prospective students, guiding them from inquiry through matriculation, and cultivating relationships with key influencers within the theological and broader academic community.

Reviews, analyzes, and rates applications of students applying for admission.

Conducts information sessions for visiting students and parents, and may conduct campus tours.

Composes correspondence, and designs and generates reports.

Maintains communication via telephone, correspondence, and/or electronic mail with prospective students through all stages of the recruitment and admission process.

- Lead information sessions for visiting students and their families, conduct campus tours, and serve as a knowledgeable resource throughout the admissions process.
Communication & Outreach:
- Maintain consistent and effective communication with prospective students and key influencers through various channels, including telephone, email, and direct correspondence, ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to enrollment.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Associate Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid and other team members to develop and enhance recruitment strategies that align with Candler's mission and goals.
Faculty and Alumni Engagement:
- Assist in coordinating faculty and alumni activities to support recruitment efforts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

A valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Theological Education: A graduate degree in theology, ministry, or university student recruitment, with prior experience in a graduate theological school setting being highly desirable.

Design Proficiency: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools is preferred for creating recruitment and marketing materials.

Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with enrollment management software (e.g., Slate) is desirable.

Recruitment Expertise: Proven ability to plan, develop, and execute effective student recruitment strategies.

Travel: Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively for recruitment purposes.
