The Job:

The Tooling Buyer/Planner plans and orders tooling based on customer due dates and production schedules.

As a Tooling Buyer/Planner, you’ll be part of our Aerospace team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to:

• Develop and maintain tool usage forecasts based on production schedules

• Manage tool inventories, track tool locations, and ensure timely replenishment.

• Work with engineering, production, and other teams to determine tooling requirements and resolve issues.

• Coordinate with the engineering department to update and maintain tool drawings.

• Prepare production reports. Prepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.

• Prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve department and facility goals

• Provide continuous improvement ideas for the team

The Person:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or a minimum of three-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Understanding of tooling, manufacturing processes, and quality control.

• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

• Familiarity with JD Edwards enterprise one, ASCP and Oracle Advanced supply chain process software is preferred.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret tool drawings and bills of material.

• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and other employees.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The base pay range for this position in California is $56,000-100,800 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Summary

This role plays a crucial part in leading digital transformation within the organization by leveraging innovative solutions, optimizing processes, and delivering business value through exceptional user experiences and product quality. The primary function of this position is to transform the Sales group processes to be digitally managed. The goal of this position is to bring visibility, control, and efficiency while driving innovation. The secondary function of this role is for sales planning support through data management and analysis.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties

1. Create and execute the process digitalization roadmap for ADVICS North America Sales team.

2. Influence stakeholders to support business projects.

3. Lead project management for selected projects.

4. Assist in developing workflows by reviewing, discussing, analyzing, and documenting processes.

5. Evaluate and implement changes and improvements to optimize efficiency and productivity.

6. Explore the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns and predictive insights for process optimization and automation.

7. Develop dashboards and reports to visualize process performance metrics and trends, enabling informed decision-making.

8. Present ongoing reports to stakeholders, acting as a liaison for communication and performance needs.

9. Facilitate testing criteria, test plans, and implementation with end users.

10. Collaborate with IT and developers to ensure optimal user experience and product quality.

11. Communicate with other teams and stakeholders to identify, monitor, and resolve issues.

- 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager.

- Experience in digital product or services development, particularly in the automotive industry and sales, is advantageous.

- Familiarity with testing and quality assurance processes.

- Proficiency in using tools such as Nintex K2, Microsoft Power BI -- SharePoint - Office and Oracle.

- Knowledge of data extraction, validation, and analysis techniques.
