A company in the Colorado Springs, CO area is looking for a Threat Systems Analyst s to join their team in support of classified programs for Missile Tracking and Prediction. The position will sit onsite at Schriever Space Force Base. This candidate will interface directly with team members to analyze data generated and collected in the sensor lab, operate software and systems, and update various analysis tools and the system software as required. The candidate will need proficiency in the Linux operating system, and have working knowledge of Linux scripting, C++ programming, Matlab, and/or Python. This position will include the operation and performance enhancements of existing software. Strong analytical skills are required. Responsibilities will also include: contribute to and help create reports on system performance; analyze system performance reports to identify trends, discrepancies, abnormal behaviors; software test activities; integration and message exchange between various software elements/applications; Installation, maintenance, system updates and modifications. This position requires the ability to transition between analysis, software development/debugging, and systems engineering tasks on a regular basis.
This is a contract to hire for a large aerospace and defense technology company in Colorado Springs, CO.
Pay Range: $83,000-135,000 annually. Exact compensation will vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Job Description
A company in the Colorado Springs, CO area is looking for a Mission Operations Analyst to join their team at Schriever Space Force Base to support classified programs. The Mission Operations Engineers will support, maintain and monitor a 24/7 Operations Environment and must be willing to work shift work.
This is a customer facing position and will coordinate operational activities in support of real-time operations for missile tracking and prediction systems. This role requires strong understanding of Linux operating systems and ability to troubleshoot, patch, script and provide overall Tier 1 & 2 support. Responsibilities will also include: troubleshooting software and OS to restore operational status, Technical presentations and analysis reports as required, Performance analysis of missile tracking and monitoring and maintaining system status. Knowledge and experience with Ground and Flight Test support and analysis, Linux System Administration and Tracking/log Real World Events is a plus. Pay Range: ~$70-115K annually. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. The likely salary range for this position is $114,750 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

- Collaborate with Government contracting staff to develop IT plans, analyze historical and projected budgets and prepare detailed budget request reports.
- Assist the Government in providing budget and federal financial management technical and analysis support.
- Assist the Government in responding to assigned data calls.
- Assist in development of spend and operating plans.
- Conduct budget year formulation.
- Assist in the development of the lifecycle funding requests.
- Monitor and track monthly contractual obligations via a traceability matrix.
- Produce data analysis and periodic financial reports leveraging analytics tools
- Report financial forecast to client, internal team and stakeholders.
- Understanding key contract terms, specifically IT contract terms, the financial implications of changes in those terms and the technical accounting impact of contracts.
- Propose improvements to the supporting analysis to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Create tools to manage financial data centrally.
- Be accountable for all deliverables and prioritize activities for client.
- Deliver accurate, timely and in-depth analysis results against forecast and budgets to business unit stakeholders.
**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**
- Bachelor's degree in a business discipline and 2-4 years of relevant experience required.
- Prior experience with government procurement and financial processes.
- Knowledge of federal budgeting and/or federal financial management
- Holds an active TOP SECRET clearance with the U.S. Federal Government.
- Strong financial knowledge coupled with strong consultative skills.

We are currently seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to support operations in Lakehurst, NJ. This is a full-time CONUS position requiring an active DoD Top Secret clearance.  

What You’ll Do 

• Independent Cybersecurity Support: Provide hands-on, independent support for the cybersecurity posture of DOD weapon system programs and associated IT infrastructures, including hardware, firmware, software, and network components. 

• Policy Implementation & Compliance: Interpret, implement, and ensure adherence to DOD and U.S. Navy cybersecurity and information assurance policies, regulations, and frameworks (e.g., RMF, NIST SP 800 series, STIGs). 

• Risk Assessment & Vulnerability Management: Conduct comprehensive assessments of system and software risks and vulnerabilities. Identify threat vectors, evaluate potential impact, and develop mitigation strategies aligned with mission and operational requirements. 

• Cyber Strategy Development: Design and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect information systems across their lifecycle. Define secure connectivity and system interface requirements to ensure resilience and integrity of communications and data flow. 

• Cybersecurity Documentation & Accreditation: Prepare and maintain cyber support documentation packages, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and other required artifacts for the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. Support system integration efforts and facilitate certification and accreditation (C&A) activities. 

• Security Operations & Monitoring: Plan, implement, upgrade, and continuously monitor cybersecurity measures to protect computer networks and sensitive information. Utilize tools to detect intrusions, assess security event logs, and enforce proactive defense mechanisms. 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, systems integration, and IT teams to ensure secure architecture design, risk mitigation, and cybersecurity compliance throughout system development and deployment phases. 

What You’ll Bring 

Required Qualifications: 

• Education & Experience:  

• BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems or related scientific /technical discipline.   

• Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of cybersecurity experience.   

• Certifications: 

• Must have a current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance. 

• Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies 

Travel & Passport 

• Some overnight stays possible.
