Primary duties:
- Engages customers enthusiastically; supports all aspects of visitor experience to enhance Boeing brand and products. Actively creates exceptional experiences for a diverse audience.
- Leads tour activities with up to 52 attendees and theater presentations with up to 200 attendees.
- Facilitates ticket purchases, guest greeting and briefing, theater tech and other operational assignments in support of these programs.

Job Description
Kentucky Derby Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that sits on the front steps of historic Churchill Downs Racetrack. It is one of the premiere attractions in the Louisville region, celebrating the tradition, history, hospitality and pride of the world-renowned event that is the Kentucky Derby. The Museum welcomes over 258,000 visitors annually; a large percentage of those visitors come from outside of Kentucky, journeying from across the country and the world.
Position Purpose:
The primary purpose for this position is to conduct guided tours of Churchill Downs and/or Churchill Downs Backside tours; greets visitors; collects and rings-in appropriate individual and group admission fees. The Tour Guide will report to the Director of Visitor Services. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Functions/Accountabilities:
- Models all five pillars of Gracious Hospitality during interactions with Museum Staff and Guests.
- Greets visitors, ring-in appropriate individual or group admission fees.
- Conducts walking tours of Churchill Downs and/or Churchill Downs Backside Tour.
- Well-versed in Kentucky Derby and Thoroughbred Racing History and trivia.
- Give directions to visitors.
- Perform front desk maintenance duties.
- Keep current on company computer, telephone system and other visitor services technology.
- Possesses the knowledge of and the eagerness to learn about the Kentucky Derby and Thoroughbred Racing History.

Work Schedule:
- This position is available on a Part-Time basis, but must be available to work weekend shifts.
- All team members are required to work additional hours during Derby season. This includes but is not limited to working shifts on Thurby, Oaks, Derby, and the Sunday of Derby weekend. All team members are also required to work the week of the National FFA conference and Breeder's Cup (when held in Louisville).
- The work schedule will vary based on seasonality and tours offered. However, shifts will generally fall within the following hours:
- Monday-Saturday: 6:45AM - 5:30PM
- Sunday: 10:30AM - 5:30PM

Travel and Leisure is currently seeking Sales Tour Guides who have the desire to sell dreams and live one too! In this position you will meet face-to-face with customers that are brought in by our Marketing Department for you to talk to! There is no cold-calling or out of pocket expense required by you. This role must establish commonality and build rapport with prospective and/or current owners as well as articulate the benefits of vacationing with Travel and Leisure. **Essential Job Responsibilities** Conduct face-to-face presentations in our state-of-the-art sales centers located at one of our award-winning resorts. Find commonality with prospective and/or current owners. Communicate the benefits of traveling with Travel and Leisure. Support sales through establishing rapport, listening and sharing the benefit of our product. Leads are prequalified and provided by the company. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Effectively present and deliver Tour Guide presentation in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance. + Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on Tour Guide information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually. + Articulate the benefits of vacationing with Travel and Leisure.
