  • Identify various risks that can occur at the time of concluding a contract or business execution and establish alternatives to hedge them.
  • Resolve issues through close relationships with shipping company and execution companies (such as rail companies, trucking/drayage companies, port terminals) and secure favorable transportation resources and fares compared to competitors. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the design and construction of highly complex, significant projects and/or highly specialized and critical components within these projects. The Sr. PM partners with Support Services and Facilities Leadership, Category Managers, and Operations leaders to organize, plan, and manage initiatives such as sourcing transformations, inventory optimization, technology deployments (e.g., ERP, MMIS), and logistics enhancements across multiple facilities. Responsibilities include vendor selection and management, negotiation of contracts and service levels, and coordination of internal stakeholders including clinical, IT, finance, and operations teams.

The Sr. PM is responsible for monitoring project progress and outcomes, resolving highly complex challenges, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety goals. This individual communicates project status and impacts to stakeholders and executive leadership, serving as a key point of contact for high-visibility Support Services and Facilities initiatives. Projects may include clinical product conversions, centralized distribution models, or large-scale procurement redesigns.

This role requires the highest level of critical thinking, problem-solving, and change leadership. Projects often impact clinical care environments, requiring collaboration across departments and a deep understanding of healthcare operations. The Sr. PM will also mentor and coach junior team members in supply chain project management best practices, process improvement methodologies, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

The Sr. Project Manager operates with a high degree of autonomy, using sound judgment to choose strategies and tactics for achieving outcomes. The Logistics Coordinator Cell & Gene is responsible for providing an enhanced level of customer service and operational support for movement of any cell and gene shipment through our network. These activities will be managed out of the control center in Raleigh-Durham.   • Monitor GPS tracking on all CGT shipments as well as daily dashboards.
  • Monitor weather, civil unrest, strikes, or anything that would perhaps delay a shipment.
  • Provide clear and accurate information regarding the handling of the shipments, especially when shipments are delayed.
  • Post flight and trace investigations to improve service.
  • Provide support and assistance when dealing with special requirements and inform the Customer Services Group / Project Management team accordingly.
  • Produce daily reports, which detail any transport issues within the Marken network.
  • Monitoring LSPs carrying out a job. This may include calling ahead, sending dispatch instructions, training and multiple follow ups to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Ensure All PODs are recorded within correct agreed time frames.
  • Monitor and analyze repetitive operational issues to develop solutions and lessons learned.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree, 4-year degree or applicable work experience as a substitute for education
  • General logistics import/export knowledge, preferably in the Pharma/Clinical Trials industry
  • Experience in the courier or air freight industry
  • Strong knowledge of PC and Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for ensuring that air traffic control specialists provide the flying public with a high level of safety and professionalism. A well-trained Air Traffic Control (ATC) workforce plays an essential role in fulfilling this responsibility.
To provide such air traffic services, the FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current air traffic control specialists. To ensure these training needs are met, the FAA utilizes Contractor-provided instructional services at the FAA Academy and FAA ATC facilities throughout the U.S. and its Territories.
The scope of the contractor-provided services includes all training and training program support to successfully train and prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers. SAIC must provide training and training related support services as required for all types and levels of ATC facilities.
The CTS Instructor-II is a hands-on position that requires the candidate to effectively and consistently deliver the highest quality training to a wide variety of developmental air traffic control students.
The successful candidate for this position must be able to demonstrate strong technical skills with current ATC automation, simulation systems and procedures, and must demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for obtaining ATCT (TSS) simulation laboratory certification.

**US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.**
Candidates for these instructor positions shall have a minimum of 3 years of FAA CPC or equivalent Military ATCS experience in a civilian/military ATCT or ATCT/TRACON or other equivalent civilian facility. This experience must have been at a facility equal to or exceeding an ATC facility level 7, up to and including level 9.
**Desired Skills and Experience:**
+ Direct experience as a certified ATC Instructor is preferred but not required.
+ Operational Experience with ATC simulators including scenario design for simulation platforms (e.g. TSS, AT Coach, SGET, etc.).
+ Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with FAA personnel at all levels to ensure the delivery of training services meet the needs of the local facility, as well as the FAA's overall Air Traffic Control mission is highly desired.
+ Experience demonstrating excellent teaching and/or platform skills, classroom management techniques, and a student-focused drive for continuous improvement.
**Education:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
+ **FAA Certified Professional Controller (CPC) or Military equivalent certification required** with the ability to obtain and maintain **Instructor-II** Simulation Laboratory Certification.
