Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Workday Payroll, Absence & Time Tracking Business Systems Analyst to join our HRIS team. In this role, you will be a key contributor in optimizing and maintaining our Workday Human Resources system to support our HR operations and drive strategic HR initiatives. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR, Benefits and Payroll leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into effective Workday HR solutions.
- Configure, maintain, and enhance the Workday HR system to align with evolving Payroll needs and compliance regulations.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking, providing guidance and support to end-users and resolving system-related issues.
- Develop and execute test plans, oversee system testing, and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality, accuracy, and reliability.
- Engage in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, assessing their impact on existing configurations and processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including process workflows, user guides, and training materials.
- Collaborate with external vendors or consultants as required for system enhancements or integrations. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement, recommending and implementing system enhancements and best practices. Stay current with industry trends, Workday updates, and Payroll system advancements, offering recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Workday HCM Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of payroll, absence and time tracking principles, processes, and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM configuration and functionality.
- Experience with system implementation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Workday HCM certification (preferred).
- This full-time exempt position will be based at the Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, California.
