**About this role:**
We're seeking a highly analytical and strategic Pricing Analyst to join our Light Commercial Pricing team in Syracuse, NY. This role partners closely with our West Coast distribution channel to support pricing initiatives and programs for the Light Commercial products. Flexibility to work hours that support this region is required. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mathematics/analytics, market analysis and a customer-centric mindset.
**Key responsibilities:**
+ Analyze and evaluate domestic and international sales opportunities related to HVAC equipment
+ Provide price recommendations to the sales force by analyzing regional market pricing and competitive bid information
+ Recommend and authorize pricing based on project details, market conditions and established pricing guidelines
+ Strategically participate in contract negotiations
+ Work with complex data sets to determine and set competitive price levels for assigned distributors & propose findings to management
+ Provide statistical reports to illustrate how pricing strategies impact profitability and sales volume
+ Collaborate across functions on pricing related initiatives (independent project focus)
+ Independently manage assigned process improvement projects
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 1 + years of experience in a finance, accounting, and/or pricing environment
