The Traffic Management Supervisor assumes a leadership role, overseeing Traffic Management Specialists under the direction of the Manager and Assistant Managers. Operating 24/7, the Supervisor serves as the primary contact for operational needs, ensuring professional decorum and adherence to approved procedures. **Pay: $21.25 / Hour**
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Direct, supervise, and lead a team of Traffic Management Specialists in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic at the airport curbside area
+ Oversee the enforcement of parking regulations and resolving disputes as required
+ Initiate calls for parking citations and coordinate with the towing contractor for removal of unattended vehicles
+ Implement and monitor adherence to established procedures and service standards for Traffic Management Specialists
+ Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to team members
+ Respond to and resolve complex customer inquiries and complaints related to the Traffic Management team
+ Investigate and address incidents involving Traffic Management Specialists, ensuring proper reporting and disciplinary action as necessary
+ Collaborate with Airport Authority personnel, commercial vehicle operators, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and effective communication
+ Contribute to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures for the Traffic Management team
+ Analyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the team
+ Ensure team compliance with all safety regulations and security protocols
+ Prepare accurate and timely reports on team performance and activity
+ Be active and visible on the curb (outside), not in the terminal (inside)
+ Work actively in designated areas and adjacent zones when necessary
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Ability to obtain an Airport Authority Credential
+ Possess, or be able to obtain, a security license issued by the state
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
+ Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience, preferably in security or traffic management
+ Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience in an outdoor environment
+ Understanding of traffic management procedures and parking regulations
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and resolve conflicts effectively
+ Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking
+ Ability to handle emergency situations and provide excellent customer service

AECOM is seeking a shift supervisor to oversee the daily activities and responsibilities of assigned shift personnel and shift duties within a 24/7/365 traffic management center control room. This position is responsible for ensuring strict compliance with standard operating procedures, quality control, and personnel management. **Job Summary**
The Control Room Shift Supervisor will work on-site at a Traffic Management Center (TMC), located in Milwaukee, WI. The environment is a technological hub for traffic operations, which uses a variety of different technologies and tools for the purpose of enhancing safety and mobility.
**Responsibilities include:**
+ Oversee all aspects of daily traffic management center control room operations on assigned shift.
+ Conduct work product audits to ensure quality, procedural compliance, and accuracy.
+ Oversee shift scheduling and compliance with attendance policies in conjunction with management.
+ Coordinate and track all assigned employee initial and recurrent training and development of staff on assigned shift.

+ Oversee work zone and special event support ensuring quality and accuracy.

**Job Description**
**AECOM** is actively seeking an experienced Traffic Management Center (TMC) Operators for immediate employment for statewide work in South Carolina for the South Carolina Department of Transportation. Assigned in North Charleston, South Carolina, TMC.
Charleston TMC Hours of Operation - 6:00am-7:30pm. ( _Operational hours are subject to change to meet the needs of SCDOT (emergency, evacuation, storm response, etc.)_
**These positions require a consistent rotating schedule that varies by week that may include 12- 14 hour days. The minimum starting pay rate is $20.00/hour with promotional opportunities available after** **successful completion of six weeks of initial training and again at** **a minimum of a year of high performing operations meeting minimum standards. Offer is contingent on validation of SCDOT TMC training and performance requirements.**
The position uses Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) software and web-based applications for monitoring freeways and managing events/incidents; dispatching incident management personnel; answering and responding to calls from State Highway Emergency Program (SHEP) Patrollers; and communicating, coordinating, and collaborating with other staff, SC Department of Transportation and Department of Public Safety personnel, and partner agencies.
**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**
The position performs tasks in support of monitoring, detecting and responding to traffic related incidents, emergencies and needs for motorist assistance along regional interstates across the state of South Carolina.
SCDOT's transportation management program includes dispatch/operator staff in support of roadside assistance for stranded motorists on SC's freeways. AECOM dispatch/operator staff support SHEP field staff (patrollers) 7 days a week, 365 days per year, serving a critical role in the delivery of safety and mobility to the motoring public.
The routine responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
**TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Dispatch and coordinate SHEP patrollers, who provide roadside assistance for stranded motorists and response to roadway incidents and disruptions.
+ Monitor field surveillance camera video and other information sources for the detection and verification of events that impact traffic flow and safety.
+ Log potential and confirmed events that impact traffic flow and safety using software applications, including traffic lane and road shoulder closures related to construction and maintenance activity.
+ Use software and applications to control and monitor various Intelligent Transportation Systems devices located along freeways, such as surveillance cameras and dynamic message signs.
+ Participate in technical and customer service training and certification activity as required by the program.
+ Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Operating Guidelines provided by the program.
+ Log information about agency communication, first responder activity, and roadway checks.
**COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Perform communication tasks consistent with the program's high level of customer service expectations and training.
+ Dispatch and communicate with SHEP patrollers and SCDPS, using program-directed radio and/or phone communication protocols.
+ Answer phone calls and provide information or assistance to motorists, SCDOT personnel, or other agencies on traffic and road conditions, transfer calls to designated personnel as appropriate.
+ Communicate via radio and/or phone with law enforcement, ambulance, fire department, and towing service staff and provide clear and accurate information regarding traffic incidents and the response required.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time monitoring Intelligent Transportation Systems such CCTV camera displays, law enforcement radio broadcasts, answering/responding to calls and communicating to other staff or partner agencies.
+ Ability to operate software platforms and web-based applications.
+ Must pass a state and federal criminal history/security background check.
+ Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
+ Ability to successfully pass post-employment 6-week SCDOT TMC training and performance program which is a condition of continued employment.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Previous experience working in a call center, customer service, 911 Operator or dispatching environment.
+ Demonstrated ability to meet a high level of customer service expectations.
+ Ability to work in a calm manner and professional manner in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
+ Previous experience working in a position which includes heavy telephone, radio, and computer/technology usage.
+ Effective oral and written communications skills for in-person, radio, and phone conversations.
+ Ability to interpret and understand geographic information portrayed on a map and map-based applications.
+ Knowledge of interstates and state routes throughout South Carolina with geographic familiarity of the freeway system and arterial roads.
+ Working knowledge of and skill set to utilize and operate an ATMS software platform and/or web-based applications.
+ Efficient and accurate data entry skills.
+ Ability to solve problems and prioritize tasks, and be organized, responsible and timely.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

High-Level Description: The Senior Load Balance/Traffic Management Administrator leads enterprise-level traffic optimization, secure access enforcement, and service delivery continuity through advanced load balancing and DNS/IP management capabilities in support of critical intelligence mission systems.
Detailed Description: This role is responsible for the configuration, sustainment, and optimization of high-availability traffic management solutions using F5 and Infoblox platforms across multiple secure enclaves. The administrator will manage SSL/TLS offloading, enforce PKI-based authentication, and ensure the validity of digital certificates through automated monitoring and expiration alerts to prevent service disruptions. The position supports system scalability by provisioning virtual servers, defining VLANs, integrating servers with distribution switches, and maintaining STIG-compliant configurations across Windows, Linux, and virtual appliances.
Working in close coordination with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams, the administrator supports the secure delivery of services through virtual environments (VMware vSphere, vCenter, Hyper-V), and leverages automation tools such as Terraform , Chef , and SCCM for baseline provisioning, patch deployment, and configuration enforcement. Responsibilities also include DNS/IPAM administration, print queue management, backup/recovery operations (NetBackup), and VM snapshot maintenance.
The administrator participates in monthly security template updates, leads traffic-related incident resolution, and collaborates on cross-domain platform integrations. All work is performed in a classified environment with visibility into system state, health, and performance via integrated AIOps dashboards and automated alerting systems. The administrator ensures that privileged and tenant users operate within least-privilege access models, contributing directly to mission readiness and continuity of operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Security+ CE certification and TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph required.
- 8+ years of experience in IT operations, with 5+ years specializing in enterprise load balancing, DNS, or traffic management.
