The Traffic Management Supervisor assumes a leadership role, overseeing Traffic Management Specialists under the direction of the Manager and Assistant Managers. Operating 24/7, the Supervisor serves as the primary contact for operational needs, ensuring professional decorum and adherence to approved procedures. Traffic/Curb Management ensuring the efficient and safe flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic through the terminal facility at the Airport. The Supervisor assures traffic safety, responds to customer concerns, and supervises daily tasks. Incident management, documentation accuracy, and maintaining a secure work area are integral responsibilities for this role.
**Pay: $21.25 / Hour**
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Direct, supervise, and lead a team of Traffic Management Specialists in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic at the airport curbside area
+ Oversee the enforcement of parking regulations and resolving disputes as required
+ Initiate calls for parking citations and coordinate with the towing contractor for removal of unattended vehicles
+ Implement and monitor adherence to established procedures and service standards for Traffic Management Specialists
+ Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to team members
+ Respond to and resolve complex customer inquiries and complaints related to the Traffic Management team
+ Investigate and address incidents involving Traffic Management Specialists, ensuring proper reporting and disciplinary action as necessary

**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Ability to obtain an Airport Authority Credential
+ Possess, or be able to obtain, a security license issued by the state
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
+ Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience, preferably in security or traffic management
+ Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience in an outdoor environment
+ Understanding of traffic management procedures and parking regulations
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and resolve conflicts effectively
+ Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking
+ Ability to handle emergency situations and provide excellent customer service

**What You'll Do:**
+ Operates various computer-based traffic management systems to manage traffic and incidents on roadways and improve traffic conditions.
+ Monitors roadways via CCTV surveillance cameras and detection systems. Monitors all ITS devices and computer equipment associated with the system. Maintains advanced knowledge on the operation of all traffic equipment, computers and software associated with the traffic systems.
+ Utilizes traffic equipment for incident management and the improvement of travel time, safety, and quality of life of the traveling motorists and toll customers. Continually checks the accuracy and validity of the messages displayed on all systems. Aware of all alert messages broadcasted on a particular system.
+ Enters incident information into computer systems using traffic software. Follow SOG to detect, dispatch, monitor, and document roadway incidents. Confers with traffic partners (highway patrol, Road Rangers, Local Law Enforcement, Fire Rescue, etc.) as well as adjacent Traffic Management Centers or other DOT Districts to coordinate resources for incidents that may affect regional travel.
+ Becomes familiar with the roadways and understand the purpose and location of each traffic device (i.e. detector stations, CCTV, and 511). Learns and maintains understanding of new and existing procedures, guides, and memos.
+ Dispatches roadway service patrols and assists roadway services patrols with other tasks, such as phone calls, etc.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.

The routine responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Working in close coordination with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams, the administrator supports the secure delivery of services through virtual environments (VMware vSphere, vCenter, Hyper-V), and leverages automation tools such as Terraform , Chef , and SCCM for baseline provisioning, patch deployment, and configuration enforcement. - Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Terraform, Chef, and SCCM.
