# **Job Summary**
The Financial Trader plays a key role on the Financial Trading Desk with a heavy focus on trade strategy development at the portfolio level, trade strategy execution and risk management, execution for physical asset optimization teams; reports directly to Portfolio Manager (Director - Financial Trading).
# **Job Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Generate and articulate trade strategies supported with proper fundamental and technical support for fixed price/time spreads, options, and basis to the Financial Natural Gas Team
+ Execute approved trade strategies, hedge trades, and physical asset optimization trades
+ Coordinate deal entry/trade capture, position tie-out, risk report monitoring with mid-office
+ Provide end of day position reporting, market and position change summaries to Financial Trading Desk
+ Work with Trading Analysts on the Financial Trading Desk to maximize utility of daily fundamental reports, valuation tools, and strategy decks
# **Job Specific Skills**
+ Well-developed understanding of natural gas fundamentals and physical flows
+ Sophisticated understanding of financial trading instruments (swaps, futures, options, basis, swing swaps, etc.)

The main purpose of this position is:
- Select and acquire merchandise based on quotations and commercial conditions between Eymaq and its Clients in Brazil.
- Plan, execute and control commercial activities with the existing client portfolio and develop new clients in the assigned territory.
-Ensure the continuous improvement of the internal processes through investigation and study of new procedures that lead to manage in a better way the Contracts Department.
- Comply with the internal policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Work in a cooperative way with the different departments among the organization maintaining an effective communication between the group involved.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building relations with vendors and securing a reliable and consistent flow of necessary supplies and materials.
- Analyze, evaluate and approve quotations for standard and non-standard procurements through RFQ process.
- Follow ups of pending quotes to ensure on time delivery to the clients
- Look for several vendors that provides same product to assure lowest cost possible.
- Set up and maintain a bid file of requests for quotations.
- Negotiate prices, delivery, product quality, and payment terms with vendors and place the purchase orders
- Request discounts, free shipping, and/or better payment terms at the time of placing orders.
- Review purchase order placement for accuracy and optimum delivery and pricing. (Confirm purchase order)
- Communicate with vendors in writing and verbally to follow-up pending quotations and/or open orders.
- Proactively identify issues and maintain ongoing supplier performance data for periodic internal/external review along with initiating corrective actions as needed

- Request credit applications from new suppliers/vendors in order to open lines of credit
- Advise warehouse of new inventory orders
- Resolve any upcoming claims (shortage or other) and invoices discrepancies
- Maintain and develop commercial relations with the assigned clients in the assigned region through reference records, telephone scrutiny, direct emails, alternative emails and different network sites.
- Receive and process request for quotations from the assigned clients portfolio
- Enter correctly and according to the internal procedure all the information required to make a quote order in the SAP system
- Keep the assigned client portfolio informed about the status of their quotes, purchase orders, and deliveries
- Guarantee the due processing of the quotes so that they are processed according to the deadlines requested by the client
- Negotiate with the client about prices, payment terms, guarantees according to Eymaq's internal guidelines according to their authorization level.
- Seek authorization from the immediate superior supervisor in case of exceeding their level of negotiation
- Take care of requests and complaints from assigned clients and provide solutions to them
- Generate and maintain records of sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities
- Promote the creation and development of macro agreements with strategic clients in the assigned area
- Coordinate with the logistics department to ensure delivery and customer orders according to terms
- Analyze the local market and propose improvements in strategies to guarantee greater participation and positioning in the market and maintenance of current clients.
- Comply with the guidelines of the Integrated Management System

- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
