**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop training materials (e-learning modules, instructor-led training, virtual training, job aids, and assessments).
+ Analyze training needs and create curriculum plans aligned with jet engine and avionics technologies.
+ Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to develop effective learning experiences

**About the Position**
The Senior Instructional Designer - Sales Capability role will support All Americas Sales (North America Consumer, Commercial, Retail, Commercial Tire Service Center (CTSC), Retread, Aviation, etc.) learning and development (L&D) initiatives by leading the creation of multi-channel learning solutions (eLearning, instructor-led, blended, content curation, etc.) that align with business needs and produce measurable results. The incumbent will accomplish these results by using instructional design methodologies, adult learning theory, and cognitive science to create learning experiences that drive performance change.
This role will partner with top-level business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to devise/implement multi-function comprehensive learning and evaluation strategies. The associate will proactively share expertise on adult learning theory, performance, and instructional design to drive business outcomes through learning and non-learning solutions.
The individual will manage several complex and multi-faceted projects/programs from beginning to end, including timelines, training approach, resources, SME feedback and review process, testing, rollout procedures, communication and development, etc.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Design and develop web-based training solutions (including storyboards, prototypes, graphics and animations, audio, etc.). Test/Implement solutions in accordance with business needs and learning management system (LMS) guidelines.
+ Develop evaluation strategy to determine the effectiveness of training programs and reinforce learning.
+ Consult with senior-level business leaders to determine performance goals, learning objectives, and project/program requirements (including technology, time, cost, audience/task analysis, etc.) that span the entire region/enterprise.
+ Drive appropriate and sustainable learning/non-learning solutions to fit the target audience, achieve learning objectives, and reinforce desired behaviors. Mentor other Sales and Customer Capability associates on needs analysis and project management.
+ Design/Develop instructional materials for instructor-led (classroom or virtual) training (facilitator/participant materials, performance support, and evaluation tools) that are easy to use, visually appealing, and accomplish business/learning objectives.
+ Actively and effectively manage multiple projects and/or programs concurrently. Develop evaluation strategy to determine the effectiveness of training programs and reinforce learning. Deliver in-person and virtual training occasionally. Create train-the-trainer strategy/tools and prepare master facilitators.
+ Mentor Instructional Designers on design processes and tools used (authoring software, delivery platform, design/development standards, LMS tool use, evaluation, etc).
+ Actively research best-in-class learning organizations and processes to understand emerging trends, tools, and processes in sales learning in order to work to incorporate these trends, tools, and processes within Goodyear. Inform/Communicate to Sales and Customer Capability team on these trends that align with business needs and strategies, as well as diverse needs of learners within the Sales organization.
+ Manage third-party design/development vendor relationships and engagements throughout the entire procurement process.
+ Participate in annual operating plan (AOP) process by forecasting annual learning spend, developing business case, and managing learning engagements to meet established AOP requirements.
**Required Education and Experience**
