**Primary purpose of the position:**
Drives operational excellence though the deployment and execution of a standardized and comprehensive technical training program. Drives quality and consistency of training delivery. Promotes a continuous improvement culture through analysis of employee proficiency, program effectiveness and achievement of KPIs. Drives employee adherence to the defined training program by monitoring and reporting status of training completion against defined targets of timing and performance.
**Essential Responsible Areas:**
+ Leads and strategically advises plant leadership on effectiveness of plant training programs and future training needs, by monitoring and measuring KPIs as determined through collaboration with operational leadership.
+ Manages the organization and staffing of employee onboarding and other operational training based on current production needs, training changes in the production process and training designed to supplement individual shortcomings of knowledge and skills of employees.
+ Supervises the plant trainers and training function as directed, utilizing Balls Inspire, Connect, and Achieve Leadership Framework.
+ Supports the successful deployment and execution of the LMS system included administration duties as defined by the program.
+ Supports training-related employee onboarding activities as defined by the training program, championing Ball Corporations company culture and Drive For Ten values.
+ Drives an effective training program that enables teams to safely and effectively perform consistent, high- quality, role-based work consistently across assigned plants to maximize operational performance.
+ Drives effective use of the training assets in the plant including the training room, aids, materials and related technology.
+ Drives consistent training delivery by supporting the development of plant training resources with approved methods, skills and techniques, and collaboration with the regional technical training department.
+ Drives and administers plant based training grant opportunities in collaboration with the regional technical training department.
+ Indirectly drives employee adherence to the defined training program by monitoring and reporting status of training completion against defined targets of timing and performance.
+ Champions use and functionality of training program and ensures accuracy/effectiveness through a validation strategy that includes visual observation along with both formal and informal feedback.
+ Conducts training, when appropriate, on general concepts and topics as defined by the standardized training program.
+ Supports and follows critical control processes such as change control systems, document control systems and SOP/WI systems.

**Professional & Education Qualification**
+ Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college level education or work-related experience; adult education, instructional/curriculum design
+ Job related experience for 3 year(s) minimum in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

We are growing and looking for an experienced Training & Development Specialist to design and manage training programs that support employee development, strengthen technical and compliance skills, and align with PDW's strategic goals. What You'll Do

• Collaborates with Production Management, Training Department, and Database Administrators to categorize, prioritize, and consolidate training curricula for the manufacturing department
• Supports customization, configuration and implementation of training profiles
• Develops automation capabilities for training assignments and change requests using site-approved digital tools. Adheres to GMP guidelines and change control management processes.
Administration doing tasks like the following:
• Formatting MS Excel spreadsheets to organize data for discussions
• Keeping notes of changes to be made
• Submitting Training Requests and tracking completion of the curricula changes
• Scheduling meetings
Other tasks could include:
• Creating electronic forms as needed
• Creating a method to track Training Requests to ensure implemented
• Developing a Training Plan document for department

In this position the successful candidate serve as a Training Development Specialist and will be responsible for developing highly creative training material for existing and new systems. The ideal candidate will provide standup training to customer personnel at various locations. The selected candidate will also be responsible for the development and implementation of syllabi and training plans and assist in the development of simulation and scenarios used for customer training.
The successful candidate must have excellent creative capabilities in designing and creating technology-based multimedia applications applying both innovative concept and methodologies and technical skills, using multiple media tools. May involve audio, digital animation, text, graphics, visual capture, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), photo and video and more for applications including web, mobile and simulation. Responsibilities:SUMMARY:
The Training & Development Specialist position will oversee a wide variety of tasks to support all Service Provider markets (e.g. Regional Markets, Tier 2, National Accounts, etc.) which may include, but are not limited to, program development, implementation and management of programs; promoting training practices and facilitating day to day new hire and existing employee refresher training. Accountable for the development and implementation of training plans and processes to support organizational goals, day to day project management support, coordination with external partners, team coordination and execution of program initiatives. Will also manage planning and oversight to customer project requirements, and tracking program success. Responsible for developing, obtaining, and maintaining all job aid documentation needed to oversee the program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage overall departmental or individualized training program to ensure all new hires, department employees, and/or Shared Services Associates are trained to manage day-to-day order management tasks in accordance with the departmental policies and procedures as required.
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices
- Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, training feedback, and consultation with Operations Managers.
- Monitor and evaluate training programs effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them.
- Manage and implement procedures including all job aides that support the program are maintained on the KGPCo Hub with complete accuracy.
- Manage assigned projects to completion, ensuring that all activities are coordinated, completed, and kept current.
- Serve as liaison across customer units to obtain a thorough knowledge of procedures, as well as to understand the Companys ability to procure and manage orders for successful project completion.
- Develop a detailed project plan, including measurements of success, and the associated timeline required for program implementation. Execute plans and decisions related to the program.
- Prepare detailed analysis of the program, including status reports, service level metrics, and project measurements, as well as both formal and informal presentations to all levels of management that effectively communicates the health and status of the program.
- Ensure all Shared Services Associates are trained to manage the day to day order management tasks in accordance with Broadband Networks departmental policies and procedures as required.
- Performs other duties as requested by Manager.
