Position Overview
As an individual contributor, this is a chance to shape the role and the impact as we build our L&D infrastructure. This position supports our Craft Trainers so they can deliver quality content that will help increase knowledge and skills on our projects, as well as the rest of the professional and administrative staff in the organization through organizing, tracking and sometimes instruction in leadership training. Although there are no direct reports now, the role could evolve with growth and responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Instructional design and curriculum development of training materials: Partner with SMEs to translate subject matter into facilitator and learner materials that our Craft Trainers will use in the field for training.
- Lead Train the Trainer programs: Coach our Craft Trainers (which are electricians turned instructors) to improve their delivery, using feedback tools, and help them understand and master adult learning methodologies.
- Manage leadership training: Administer and refine our vendor provided leadership program, ensuring it meets the real-world needs.
- Operate our Versatility Matrix system: Keep up an internal course catalogdetailing prerequisites, class size, syllabus, and scheduling guidelines, as courses and modules are developed.
- Administer Docebo LMS (which we call Nox Group Learn): Handle maintenance tasks, user access, course setup, reporting, and other LMS admin functions.
- Hands-on experience in instructional design and curriculum development, with adult learning theory at the core.
- Proven skills in training the trainer, facilitation, coaching, and curriculum implementation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable in front of small and large groups.
- Ability to give thoughtful feedback and coach new instructors to improve.
- Background or familiarity with industrial, construction, or trade environments is a plus, though not required.
- BA/BS in Curriculum Development, Organizational Learning, or related field, or equivalent certifications and proven work experience.
- Experience in developing and executing learning plans, including design, facilitation, tracking, and continuous improvement.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPLP, CIDD, LXD) are a plus.

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager within Learning & Development to drive the design, curation, and deployment of learning initiatives as part of McDonald's Indirect Sourcing and Procurement transformation-related (GI Mod) efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the strategy, framework, and roadmap for learning activities, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities. This role requires strong collaboration with key stakeholders across functions and regions, as well as third-party vendors. As the Program Training Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing the trainings that will enable new ways of working, drive the successful deployment of new technology and processes, and support the new Indirect Sourcing & Procurement team. This role will report to the GI Mod Program Training Lead. You will be responsible for supporting the creation and execution of a comprehensive training strategy to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of the new systems, tools, and processes. You will partner closely with Market Training Leads to help them execute the training strategy, in adherence with the overall change strategy, at the market level. This role requires a deep understanding of learning & development, change management, strong project management skills, and ability to effectively train employees at all levels and cultures.
Key Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with the GI Mod Program Training Lead to develop a robust training strategy that aligns with the objectives of the GI Mod program
+ Validate a thorough assessment of training needs across various departments and user groups to identify knowledge gaps and create targeted training plans
+ Create high-quality training materials, including user manuals, online tutorials, videos, and other resources to support end-users in understanding and utilizing the new procurement systems effectively
+ Develop engaging training sessions, workshops, and webinars for employees, Franchisees, and suppliers; and support Market Training Leads with the skills and knowledge required to deliver these sessions.
+ Leverage a consistent and comprehensive training approach that is user-friendly, and tailored to different audiences
+ Support translation efforts across markets, ensuring a framework is in place for local translation work, and markets are aligned on project plan to translation timing and reviews
+ Monitor the effectiveness of the training program through feedback mechanisms, surveys, and user assessments, and continuously refine the training materials and delivery methods based on feedback and performance data

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $175,000 to $206,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 30% of the base salary and long-term incentive plan with a target payout of 30% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (20 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).

A Day In The Life:
- This role will lead the design and delivery of soft skills and development experiences for both emerging and current people leaders. - Own the end-to-end strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of one strategic learning initiative (e.g., onboarding, product training, manager development).

What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in Learning & Development or a related field, with a strong emphasis on instructional design, facilitation, and program delivery.

- Strong instructional design and facilitation skills across both digital and live formats.

Estimated Salary Range: $75,000-90,000 Actual salary will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. This Senior Manager is an important part of the Learning and Development team and has accountability for development strategies and programs for non-clinical team members. This role will report to the Director, L&D and partner closely with the Field leadership team to create and implement learning solutions and programming that support field team members at all stages of their development.
This Senior Manager is a proven leader who can effectively collaborate with the Field leadership team and other partners in Learning & Development and Human Resources. This leader is a strong performance consultant who can develop solutions and programming to build foundational to advanced knowledge, skills and abilities. This leader has experience orchestrating organizationally complex work and demonstrating business impact through data. This leader must also be hands-on with a willingness to analyze and build, unafraid to roll-up their sleeves to get projects done.
**Essential Responsibilities**
+ Partner with the Field leadership team and the broader L&D and HR teams to understand specific development needs for Aspen Dental field team members, including operations skill development, leadership and professional development and business management skills.
+ Design, develop and deliver a suite of highly effective learning solutions, programs, tools and resources. Solutions may include formal learning programs, experiential learning assignments, coaching, etc.
+ Create and enable successful learning plans for each role including PSC, OM, OL, RM and TD.
+ Manage learning and development Field programs from end-to-end, design, development, communication, facilitation, implementation and program analysis.
+ Drive a learning culture within the Field team.
+ Understand the specific needs of each learner audience so you can advocate and adapt for their specific needs and preferences.
+ Lead a team of end-to-end, non-clinical L&D professionals, providing direction, coaching and support to optimize the performance and potential of each team member.
+ Evaluate existing Field programs/content for impact and alignment with organizational needs. Iterate and provide recommendations for learning experiences that increase reach, impact, and future capability requirements.
+ Use data to measure success: learn, iterate, and improve; analyze trends and develop proactive actions to improve the experience for future learners.
+ Serve as a Learning and Development thought partner. Proactively research and identify opportunities to apply new thinking to improve effectiveness and on the job performance. Stay in touch with learning field trends and best practices.

**Requirements/Qualifications**
+ Education Level: Bachelor's degree required
+ A minimum of 7+ years of relevant learning and development experience, ideally in a fast-paced organization with a distributed workforce.
+ A minimum of 5 years project management experience using project management tools to manage medium to large scale content development projects.
+ A minimum of 3+ years leading a team of L&D professionals.
+ Advanced understanding of adult learning theory and principles.
+ Highly developed skill in instructional design and implementing development programs for all audiences.
+ Strong business insight, with the ability to credibly make a business case, by linking current and anticipated business challenges with learning and development solutions.
+ Well versed in multiple applications of digital learning, just-in-time / micro-learning, and blended learning strategies.
