Responsibilities:
The Transformation Consultant will support Barrow Wise's Illinois Secretary of State project and perform the following duties:
- Establish a comprehensive plan to support the transformation journey
- Migrate new systems away from legacy technologies
- Consolidate data onto a modern, scalable, standards-based platform
- Ensure all new systems are implemented with cybersecurity best practices
- Evaluate current cybersecurity measures and modernize them based on best practices
- Assist with setting the office structure to align Digital Transformation, Program Management, and Operational Alignment to ensure the development of Digital Strategy, Digital Capabilities, and Digital Outcomes
- Assist with the development of a short-term "mobilization plan" to prepare for a large-scale program launch
- Play a key role in helping to manage the implementation, tracking the effort, keeping stakeholders and vendors focused, and ensuring program objectives.
- Assist in building internal capabilities to ensure sustainability post-implementation.
- Submit a detailed proposal, scope of work, and timeline necessary to complete the Mobilization Phase
- U.S. Citizenship
- Master's degree in a related field
- Preferred: Project Management Professional and/or Certified Management Consultant
- Eight years of transformation experience
