Summary:Phillips Infrastructure Holdings is currently seeking a Financial Analyst at our headquarters in Knoxville, TN. This position will support the companys financial leadership with regard to corporate finance-related analyses, with a heavy emphasis on Fleet management and analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform analytical work for Fleet Services, particularly in the areas of cost analysis and rate management.
- Develop, track and report on various equipment metrics including usage and utilization.
- Maintain data integrity of financial data in ERP & other supporting software.
- Assist in the annual CAPEX budgeting and planning process.
- Provide financial control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing project specific data and trends.
- Lead internal financial audits by understanding organization objectives, structure, policies, processes, and internal controls to identify risk areas.
- Analyze financial statements, identifying key risks and opportunities to ensure delivery of financial commitments, and explaining variances to plans.
- Perform other ad hoc analysis and special projects.
- Bachelors Degree in a related field required.
- Minimum 2 years of Finance, Accounting, or Business Analysis/Planning experience.
- Advanced experience in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to learn from observations and to influence decision making.
- A background in fleet management is a bonus but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of management and employees.
- Highly organized and detail oriented; with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Position Overview
The Data Analyst, Fleet Management role will be responsible for ensuring the overall device health of Gridware's deployed fleet. The role will specifically focus on core capability development for device health classification, diagnostics, health warnings, and respective remediations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation in data analysis, a passion for the clean tech industry, and a drive to develop tools and processes that support a rapidly growing network of remote IoT devices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine scripts to monitor, analyze, and predict fleet health, enabling 99% uptime and scalable fleet operations.
- Lead over-the-air (OTA) firmware and configuration updates, including rollout strategies, validation, and rollback procedures.
- Analyze historical device health and environmental data to forecast failures and recommend preventative actions.
- Assess proposed fleet changes to balance device stability with detection performance and operational scalability.
- Serve as the technical expert for deployed hardware, driving product improvements and resolving field issues in collaboration with engineering, operations, and customer success.
- Track and communicate hardware failure trends from new installs to inform engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or any related field
- 2+ years of experience where the primary responsibility involves working with data. This could include roles such as data analyst, data scientist, data engineer, or similar positions
- Experience scripting in Python, SQL
- Previous experience building software and automation logic for rapidly scaling physical and/or virtual systems
- Strong analytical and communication abilities to translate extremely technical & complex topics to non-technical cross-functional stakeholders.
