We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transportation Project Manager to support a major transportation client in South Florida. This role involves overseeing the planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with client standards, regulatory requirements, and project goals.

**What You'll Do:**
+ Responsible for development of the project scope and fee quotation and assists in the preparation of technical proposals and contracts in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Contracting Approach (SCA). Leads or actively participates in client contract scoping and negotiations.
+ Serves as the primary client liaison and manages the project team to deliver the scope, schedule and budgets to completion and to the client's satisfaction. Leads client contract scoping and negotiations.
+ Performs technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
+ Implements the firm's project delivery plan using HNTB's Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project. Leads the development and the execution of the project management plan. Supervises and mentors team to overall project objectives.
+ Responsible for/oversees project staffing, including, but not limited to; recruitment, development, retention, and succession of project staff; development of plan for project staff reporting; and support for performance and compensation reviews.
+ Partners with Client Service Leaders and pursuit champions to assist with business development, building client relationships, and pursuit efforts for mini-mega and mega projects in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Sales Approach (SSA). Works with the project team and marketing resources to prepare appropriate proposal and presentation materials. Leads proposal development and interview presentations for strategic, mini-mega, and mega projects to the client as well as general presentations within the industry and community.
+ May be responsible for the recruitment, hiring, development and retention of staff, including development of plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
**What You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience
+ 2 years of successful management of engineering projects

Project Delivery
- Oversee and manage multiple projects serving as the Project Manager, Technical Lead, and/or Task Manager for transportation infrastructure projects.
- Plan, organize, and manage the production of project deliverables to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, are technically sound, and meet quality standards.
- Lead project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external clients, consultants, and public agencies.

- Manage and monitor schedules and budget performance of assigned projects.

Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Strong understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.
- Project coordination and management experience with the ability to lead one or more teams through all phases of project document production.
- Experience preparing proposal documentation including scope and fee.
- Working knowledge of the permit and approval process with the following clients preferred: NYSDOT, NYSTA, local municipalities in NY, NYSDEC, and USACE.
- Experience with concept development, site planning, roadway design, grading and drainage, utility design, construction staging and Maintenance and Protection of Traffic.
- Working knowledge of coordination with Municipal, State, and Environmental Agencies for project permits and approvals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics and lead a team of designers.
- Creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving problems.
- Experience with alternative Project Delivery Methods such as Design-Build, Progressive-Design-Build and/or other methods.
- Prior experience in design and modeling software such as Bentley OpenRoads Designer.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (New York State preferred or able to obtain within 6 months of start date)
- Minimum of 10 Years of Engineering experience.
Position will primarily work in an office or virtual environment; may require some field work.

**Pay Range:**

**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.

Provides high-level technical tasks while managing and reviewing design-related specifications, calculations, reports, and plans. Coordinates with internal and external partners, including cross-disciplinary and functional teams, to address and problem-solve design-related issues or concerns. The Project Manager I - Engineering typically manages project team(s) for one or more strategic (<$1M) projects or may lead or work as a discipline lead on a mini-mega ($M to < 5M) project management team. The candidate will have an opportunity to work on projects for regional clients and help bring in work opportunities with the Oklahoma DOT, the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, and other Oklahoma clients. We offer a flexible work schedule and the position will be located in our downtown Oklahoma City office. **What You'll Do:** + Responsible for development of the project scope and fee quotation and assists in the preparation of technical proposals and contracts in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Contracting Approach (SCA). + Serves as the primary client liaison and manages the project team to deliver the scope, schedule, and budgets to completion and to the client's satisfaction. Assists with client project scoping and contract negotiations. + Performs technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects. + Implements the firm's project delivery plan using HNTB's Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project. Leads the development and the execution of the project management plan. Supervises and mentors team to overall project objectives. + Performs coordination with managers on project staffing, including, but not limited to; recruitment, development, retention, and succession of project staff; development of plan for project staff reporting; and support for performance and compensation reviews. + Partners with Client Service Leaders and pursuit champions to assist with business development, building client relationships, and pursuit efforts for strategic and mini-mega projects in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Sales Approach (SSA). Works with the project team and marketing resources to prepare appropriate proposal and presentation materials.
