Student Ambassador
Pay range for this role is $1,250 - $1,250 stipend per semester.
Summary of Job Purpose and Function
The primary purpose and function of the Student Ambassador is to serve as a liaison between their university (students and faculty) and an assigned Banfield Medical Director.
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks
+ Represent Banfield Pet Hospital in a sincere, professional manner.
+ Proactively promote awareness of Banfield's mission and vision among peers and answer questions from faculty and student body regarding Banfield.
+ Assist the Student Programs team and assigned Banfield Medical Director in arranging campus visits at the Ambassador's school by distributing materials, posting announcements, reserving meeting rooms, arranging catering, preparing giveaways, and all other event details.
+ Participate in the presentations on campus and provide follow-up with students and Banfield.
+ Distribute Banfield flyers, posters, e-flyers and other collateral to faculty and student body of Ambassador's school as allowed by school's vendor policy.
+ Inform the Student Program team of student activities and functions that may serve as a venue for Banfield participation (i.e. Job Fairs, Open House, SCAVMA activities).
+ Attend Banfield sponsored conferences and educational meetings when appropriate.
+ Keep an open line of communication with Student Programs team and assigned Banfield Medical Director
+ Other job duties as assigned.

**Job Summary**
**Summary:** As an Office Manager, you will perform a variety of duties including coordination of all business unit accounting activities, PO processing, payroll, and human resources administration/benefits for personnel. You will coordinate routine office duties to include data entry, associate files, record retention, and support documentation. Other duties include coordinating associate events, monthly and annual business reports.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as bookkeeping, preparation of payrolls, personnel, information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services.
+ Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.
+ Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow.
+ Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices.
+ Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
+ Plans office layout, develops office budget, and initiates cost reduction programs.
+ Reviews clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
+ Prepares activities reports for guidance of management.
+ Coordinates activities of various clerical departments or workers within department.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
+ 3 years of administrative and clerical experience in an office, hotel, corporate and/or related work environment.
+ Thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
+ Working knowledge of processes and systems including financial reporting.
+ Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.

This is a full-time appointment in the Department of Medicine at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level for a tenure/non-tenure track position. Rank and tenure status will be determined based on education and experience. The successful candidate must have a strong interest in developing an academic career.

Our high-volume center has over 20 years experience providing excellent care to patients with complex liver diseases. Since the programs inception, our team has successfully transplanted more than 2,360 patients with end-stage liver disease. According to the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients July 2022 report, our one-year survival rate is 98.5%, exceeding the national average of 92.14%. Our multidisciplinary approach to patient care draws on the combined expertise of our transplant physicians, transplant surgeons, nurse coordinators, transplant assistants, social workers, financial counselors, transplant pharmacists, immunogeneticists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and psychologists.
