**Overview**
The **Clinical Services Coordinator II** will provide administrative support for the Neurobehavioral Unit (NBU) program; serve as liaison for NBU and Kennedy Krieger staff and faculty, patients, and families; and work directly with NBU program faculty and staff to meet the needs of patients and families within the clinical programs.

9. Assist NBU leadership with relevant identified administrative tasks.
10. Order lunches, office supplies, coffee, and clinical materials as needed. Maintain appropriate storage of supplies.
11. Arrange conference travel for faculty, staff, and trainees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the protection of all employees and patients
  • Ensure that each patient entering the building has an I.D.
  • Creates orderly waiting line; have patients stand in single file while they are waiting to receive medication.
  • Performs crowd control (makes sure that after dosing, patients leave the clinic timely, unless they have an appointment to see a staff person).
  • Eliminate loitering, congregating in the parking lot and premises
  • Report critical incidents that occur in parking lot or on premises.
  • Contact local authorities and cooperate with authorities in an emergency situation, as needed.
  • Respond to calls for assistance in preventing interference or disruption of operations (maintains order and control).

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 years’ prior experience in an office/clinic setting.
  • Training from a law enforcement school or other security training is strongly preferred
  • Able to establish a positive rapport with patients and must demonstrate a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward the chemically dependent person.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and background check.

Salary Range:

Salary ranges from $16.05 to $17.05 an hour.

You will be part of the primary care team collaborating with all interdisciplinary team members and will support multiple providers. The **Patient Care Coordinator** is a flexible team member who works to support nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) as well as our patients. This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
