University of Miami Athletics has entered into a long-term partnership with Legends to oversee corporate partnerships and multi-media rights opportunities. As the exclusive partner for Miami Athletics, Legends will be responsible for engaging local and regional South Florida businesses, as well as national brands with unique and integrated sponsorship platforms to increase their exposure and align with the undeniably loyal and passionate Hurricanes fan base.
The Vice President of Partnership Activation will be primarily responsible for the planning, execution, client service, and day-to-day management of all aspects surrounding Miami Athletics partnership agreements. The Vice President of Partnerships Activation acts as the liaison between multiple Miami Partners and/or their agencies and the University of Miami Athletics Department. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a proven track record in leadership and partnership activation and fulfillment. The Vice President of Activation will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Partnerships Hurricanes Global Partnerships.
Essential Functions
- Act as the primary liaison for Miami Partners to facilitate activation of integrated partnership agreements
- Facilitate partnership activation strategy, ongoing client engagement and opportunity identification via regular meetings, and written correspondence
- Lead, manage and mentor full-time and part-time Activation staff.
- Lead the account renewal and upsell process including developing presentations and season recaps.
- Collaborate with University of Miami colleagues to fully understand each Partner's marketing objectives and priorities
- Proactively coordinate and manage all aspects of partnership implementation and fulfillment; partnership assets may include, but are not limited to, IP rights, game day and in-market activation, digital/social/print media, hospitality, and special events
- Prepare and communicate timelines, artwork, creative specifications, and implementation deadlines
- Prepare and process all documentation related to client implementation and the creation of year-end partnership summaries
- Coordinate and manage all ticket and hospitality implementation, as well as scheduling and logistics for clients at UM Athletic events
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of ten (10) years of high-level partnership marketing and activation experience
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a client activation and service team, including developing activation strategies, managing performance, incorporating ongoing education, and providing measurable results
- Knowledge of partnership programs, including content development and distribution
- Ability to develop creative proposals that meet and exceed potential partners' needs
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships at all levels internally and externally within a major university
- Ability to develop strong peer level relationships and work in a team-oriented environment
- Expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and negotiating creative solutions
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work solo or within a team atmosphere
Compensation

Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and oversee the digital strategy for assigned sports/accounts/channels within Miami Athletics, focusing on revenue generations, content curation and driving fan engagement.
- Manage social media channels (X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok) for assigned sports.
- Stay up to date on social trends, tools and best practices to incorporate into Miami Athletics' social media presence.
- Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success of social media efforts, provide actionable insights and make data-driven decisions to alter digital strategies as needed to optimize content and maximize reach.
- Consistently collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to amplify key messaging and the Miami Hurricanes brand.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of the ever-changing landscape of social media, particularly in sports and entertainment.
- Proven success in driving content and generating revenue through various social and digital mediums.
- Experience in managing social media accounts/platforms for Division I athletic teams is preferred.
- Comfortability working with analytics platforms like Zoomph to track KPIs and assess success of social accounts.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software, particularly Photoshop and Lightroom
- Experience with content creation in photography and graphic design is a plus.
- Self-motivated, independent individual who proactively identifies new opportunities, while also working collaboratively in a team setting.

Merchandise Associate

Essential Functions
- Provide an exciting, positive, and fun environment for our diverse team & fan base
- Greet guests & ascertain their interest, so you may make sales recommendations
- Excellent accuracy when using POS systems
- Demonstrate ownership in cleaning, re-stocking, & any other tasks assigned by supervisor
- Present merchandise to increase sale with add on items
- Must be able to describe merchandise features, benefits, and explain use
- Keep current on promotions & sales in store: and events
- Maintain inventory, merchandise placement, and accurate counts. Assist in inventory
- Continually increase knowledge of product, and facility
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Must be able to read & implement plan-o-grams
- Assist the Gift Shop set-up team with the merchandising of event gift shops including plan-o-grams, merchandise placement, inventory control, cleaning of shops & fixtures
Qualifications
- Honesty and integrity in all actions and language
- Must be able to take constructive feedback & make necessary changes
- Excellent customer service and selling skills
- Be willing to work extended hours on event days
- Must be able to work weekends & overtime as needed
- High school graduate, GED, or equivalent experience in comparable company
- Accuracy in open & close procedures
- Able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Innovative & self-starter, who can work independently and as part of a team
- Must be willing to work 75% of football games each season, 75% of women's basketball games each season, and 75% of the Men's basketball games each season.
- Flexibility in duties & responsibilities as needed in other areas
- Merchandising skills a plus

**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
+ Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
+ Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
+ Process billing information and collect payments when required
+ Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
+ Maintain patient and specimen information logs
+ Provide superior customer service to all patients
+ Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
+ Travel to additional sites when needed
**Job Requirements:**
