**Job Summary**
Do you enjoy using your culinary skills in fast paced growing environment? We are currently seeking a Sous Chef at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for successfully supporting the culinary operations for a student dining location including working with a large staff. **Position Description:**
The Field Engineer (FE) works directly for the Superintendent and is expected to exercise judgment and discretion in making recommendations, implementing policies and procedures and handling a wide variety of matters in the field. The position is normally, but not necessarily preparatory to becoming an Office Engineer or Project Engineer. The primary purpose of the position is to proactively aid the Superintendent in front-line field management. In addition, the position requires a considerable amount of work, responsibility, persistence, problem solving ability and good attitude, because the FE is responsible for the majority of the layout on a project, supervision of trade workers and subcontractor employees, as well as lift drawings, safety, and quality control responsibilities. Although the majority of a Field Engineer's time will be spent in the field, there are some duties which will require work in the field office. This is a safety sensitive position.
**Position Qualifications:**
+ A 4 -year degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture or Construction Management.
+ Valid Driver's License.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel-based templates, ProjectSight, Primavera and AutoDesk Suite.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Past internships in the construction industry are preferred, but not required.
**Essential Duties:**
+ Project layout (surveying) in conformance with design and contract documents.

+ Perform production trend analysis for quantities of work in place and report for the weekly and monthly schedule and cost control reports.
+ Assist with quality control, site safety initiatives and coordination of trade partners as delegated by the project superintendent. May include directing a small work force to gain supervisory experience.
+ Coordinate material deliveries by checking material requirements in advance and comparing with the delivery status. Additionally, inspect materials delivered to the job for quantity, quality and condition, and report on missing and/or damaged items.
+ Assist foremen and trade partners with interpretation of plans and specifications.
+ Oversight of trade partners, as assigned, and direction of workforces (e.g., a labor crew) of employees or trade partner employees to gain supervisory experience.
+ Participate in jobsite safety meetings, weekly safety audits, etc.
+ Collaborate with the VDC team on VDC scope of work, execution plan and deliverables related to field operations. Review and navigate within the current 3D model viewing and scheduling software.

**Job Summary**
Chartwells Higher Ed is seeking an energetic and growth-minded **Assistant Director of Dining (retail/restaurant leadership)** to join our CAMPUS DINING Food Service team at the University of Pittsburgh!
In this exciting leadership position on our operations and culinary team, you will be responsible for **RETAIL DINING** locations on campus!
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Plans and supervises special functions, maintains cash controls, payroll records, and oversees the hiring and training of our hourly team members
+ Ensures customer satisfaction and good public relations through the safe and efficient uses of resources
+ Directs staff to provide scheduled retail services in accordance with corporate policies and presentation standards
+ Trains staff in customer service, proper portioning, cashier skills, and safety/sanitation
+ Completes all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in the corporate policies and procedures on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlines.
+ Communicates effectively with all team members, patients and families
+ Implements and maintains cash handling standards as outlined in the Corporate Policies and Procedures Manual to eliminate theft of services or Company funds
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ A.A. Degree plus three years of directly related experience preferred.
+ Minimum of one to three years of retail or restaurant operational foodservice management experience preferred, depending upon formal degree or training
+ Good knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing and presentation
+ P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
+ Experience with cash retail operations
+ Retail marketing experiences are highly desirable
+ Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
+ Good communication skills both written and verbal
+ Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, customer and associate levels
+ Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting and computational practices
+ Proficient computer skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet

Purpose: The CRNA provides anesthetic care for all patients in cooperation with the supervising physician, following Department of Anesthesiology standards and hospital policies. They administer anesthesia, monitor patients' reactions to sedatives and anesthetic agents, and inform the anesthesiologist of any adverse conditions that may threaten patient safety.
Responsibilities:
+ Administer anesthesia and related care, including pre-anesthetic preparation, induction, maintenance, emergence, post-anesthesia care, and peri-anesthesia support.
+ Assumes responsibility and is accountable for controlled substances according to department and hospital policy and State and federal guidelines
+ Assists with the teaching and evaluation of newly hired CRNAs, GRNAs, and SRNAs.
+ Performs according to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Review appropriate documentation for informed consent and identify appropriate surgical site with operating room staff and surgeon in accordance with departmental and regulatory compliance standards
+ Participate in the Quality Improvement (QI) process through documentation, incident reporting, evaluation, education, and implementation.
+ Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program required.
+ Knowledgeable regarding controlled substance policies in accordance with Federal and State laws required.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
+ Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.
+ Board Certified, Recertified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists required.
+ CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
+ AHA-approved ACLS/PALS certifications as required by institution of employ upon hire.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
+ Registered Nurse (RN)
+ Act 33 with renewal
+ Act 34 with renewal
+ Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
