LEADERSHIP ANNUAL GIVING OFFICER (UNIVERSITY OF TULSA) Tulsa, OK Hybrid
THE RUNDOWN The Leadership Annual Giving Officer focuses on increasing donor participation, growing unrestricted and restricted scholarship support for annual gifts, and strengthening the pipeline for major gift prospects. The Leadership Annual Giving Officer will cultivate meaningful engagement with alumni, parents, faculty/staff, and friends of the university.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure program success and donor engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with annual donors, focusing on donor retention and upgrade strategies through telephone outreach.
- Ensure timely and personalized donor stewardship communications.
- Collaborate with campus partners, athletics, and academic units to maximize fundraising opportunities.
- Utilize donor database and analytics tools to segment audiences, track results, and refine strategies.
- Prepare regular progress reports and present findings to senior leadership.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five years of experience in fundraising, development, marketing, or related field.
- Demonstrated success in annual giving or similar fundraising programs.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in fundraising CRM systems (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in higher education advancement.
- Familiarity with data-driven decision making and donor segmentation strategies.
- Supervisory experience.
TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Available to work events in evenings, and on weekends and some holidays as required
- Walking, standing, bending and carrying light office items may be required

Playfly Sports is looking for a Senior Consultant, Sales & Service to join our team in Tulsa, OK.
Senior Consultant, Sales & Service will perform outbound sales calls as well as assist in the strategizing of development activities to increase donations to the athletic department. These calls will be supplemented with email marketing, face-to-face presentations and in-arena/stadium tours. Day-to-day leadership and mentoring of this position will be provided by Playfly Aspire Leadership. Additional duties include handling all forms of inbound communication and being able to address and answer all questions, comments, or concerns, conducting onsite and offsite appointments, and attending season ticket member events for all ticketed university athletics sporting events. Day to day leadership and mentoring of this career growth-oriented sports sales development program will be provided by the university and Aspire Leadership Team. The Senior Consultant, Sales will receive the tools, programs, and systems necessary to "BE GREAT."
What You'll Accomplish
- Perform stadium tours, on-site presentations, outbound calls and service inbound calls for the athletic department for all ticketed sports.
- Meet or exceed sales goals while exceeding client expectations and providing superior customer service.
- Oversee tailgating accounts on gameday. Coordinating with all accounts and vendors leading up to the event.
- Premium Seat opportunities with Football Suites/Club seats & Men's Basketball courtside seating.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training the ticket sales and service staff
- Grow sales portfolio continuously by attracting additional business leads
- Coordinate the acquisition, advancement and retention of blue and gold members by working with the marketing team to develop and produce solicitations, renewals, and marketing materials
- Service all existing season ticket members and donors
- Facilitate season ticket member upgrades and additional seat requests
- Maintain records of all prospects and customers within Ticketing/ CRM database
- Make a minimum of 40 connections (conversations) with fans daily
- Contact local businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments and networking events to sell season tickets, corporate, partial plans, and group ticket plans
- The candidate will be accountable for certain levels of outbound sales activity (executed/scheduled) and daily goals
- Work home games, performing various ticket sales and service duties as assigned and agreed upon with FRMC Leadership
- Set and execute out of office and arena tour appointments to grow relationships and revenue within the current fan base
- Join FRMC Leadership meetings

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
- 1-3 years of proven sales experience required; ticket sales preferred
- Previous customer service or retail experience a plus; display a genuine desire to help

The Director of Annual Giving is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating a comprehensive annual giving program designed to build a robust base of philanthropic support for the University of Tulsa. Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement a strategic annual giving plan aligned with the university's advancement priorities and fundraising goals.
- Manage all facets of annual giving campaigns, including direct mail, email, social media, crowdfunding, Giving Day, phonathon, and peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives.
