THE OPPORTUNITY
Silvus is seeking an _Associate_ Director of Sales, Unmanned Systems ( who will work closely with and report to one of the _Director of Sales, Unmanned Systems_ on the _Sales_ team; together they are a two-man sales team, and share a common sales quota and list of accounts. The successful individual in this role will actively participate in all aspects of the sales cycle, for both existing and emerging markets/channels in the Unmanned Systems market at the direction of the Sales Director.
This position is eligible for **100% remote** work depending on location.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Work under the direction of and mentorship by the Director of Sales, Unmanned Systems on a common list of strategic Unmanned Systems accounts that compose a sales territory.
+ **Sales Management** : Direct and oversee the entire sales process, targeting customers in line with the company's strategic objectives. Responsible for not only initiating customer interaction but also guiding the final sales and ensuring successful follow-up.
+ **Business Relationships** : Establish and maintain relationships with partners and customers in the Unmanned Systems market. Actively identify and explore new segments and opportunities that leverage core MIMO solutions.
+ **Event Support** : Participate in trade shows, conferences, experiments, and customer events as needed to support sales development.
+ **Market Awareness** : Stay updated on trends, changes, and competitor actions in the market that may have an impact on the company's positioning. This includes setting and meeting an annual target for new business, to support growth in the Unmanned systems market.
+ **Pipeline Management** : Contribute to building a robust pipeline of business opportunities. Regularly update CRM database with a forecast of opportunities to help inform key business decisions.
+ **Product Knowledge** : Develop and maintain a deep understanding of MIMO solutions. This knowledge will help effectively communicate the value and benefits of products available to customers and prospects.
+ **Customer Service** : Foster a customer-centric approach in all dealings. Promptly address any customer concerns or complaints and use feedback to create improvements.
+ _Travel Requirements -_ may require travel 1 - 2 weeks per month.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 2 years of relevant sales or business development experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years of relevant sales or business development experience.
+ Minimum 2 years of demonstrated business development and sales experience in a technical field.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ **NOTE - Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.**
+ **US Government clearance at SECRET level; OR the ability to obtain a SECRET US Government security clearance within 12 months of start date.**
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

+ Technical knowledge of RF communications, mesh networking, and/or ISR payloads.

We are looking for a **Casual, Remote Pilot Operator (RPO)** candidates to join the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the **Maui ATCT (OGG),** **located in** **Kahului, HI** **,** supporting air traffic controller training services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
**Job Description:**
The RPO plays the role of the pilot and other controllers in the Air Traffic Controller training simulator. The RPO operates a combination of a simulated radar display and voice communication system to simulate the actions and communication of pilots and remote ATC facilities during medium and high-fidelity training exercises. RPOs receive voice commands from students, input proper entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions, translate displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology, and respond to the student via the VCS utilizing proper phraseology.
The candidate will be required to complete the following certifications: Classroom (pass test on airspace and procedures) and Lab (perform as a Remote Pilot Operator on all positions).
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for ensuring that air traffic control specialists provide the flying public with a high level of safety and professionalism. A well-trained Air Traffic Control (ATC) workforce plays an essential role in fulfilling this responsibility. The FAA employs more than 14,000 air traffic controllers. They work in air traffic facilities of varying sizes, safely separating more than 50,000 aircraft in the National Airspace System (NAS) each day.
To provide such air traffic services, the FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current air traffic control specialists. The FAA utilizes Contractor-provided instructional services at FAA ATC facilities throughout the U.S. and its Territories to ensure these training needs are met. The scope of the contractor-provided services includes all training and training program support to successfully train and prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers. SAIC must provide training and training related support services as required for all types and levels of ATC facilities.

We are looking for **Full-time, Remote Pilot Operator (RPO)** candidates to join the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the **New York ARTCC (ZNY), located in Ronkonkoma, NY,** supporting air traffic controller training services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
**Job Description:**
The RPO plays the role of the pilot and other controllers in the Air Traffic Controller training simulator. The RPO operates a combination of a simulated radar display and voice communication system to simulate the actions and communication of pilots and remote ATC facilities during medium and high-fidelity training exercises. RPOs receive voice commands from students, input proper entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions, translate displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology, and respond to the student via the VCS utilizing proper phraseology.
The candidate will be required to complete the following certifications: Classroom (pass test on airspace and procedures) and Lab (perform as a Remote Pilot Operator on all positions).
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for ensuring that air traffic control specialists provide the flying public with a high level of safety and professionalism. A well-trained Air Traffic Control (ATC) workforce plays an essential role in fulfilling this responsibility. The FAA employs more than 14,000 air traffic controllers. They work in air traffic facilities of varying sizes, safely separating more than 50,000 aircraft in the National Airspace System (NAS) each day.
To provide such air traffic services, the FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current air traffic control specialists. The FAA utilizes Contractor-provided instructional services at FAA ATC facilities throughout the U.S. and its Territories to ensure these training needs are met. The scope of the contractor-provided services includes all training and training program support to successfully train and prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers.
