**Job Description**
Our award-winning urban design, landscape architecture, and planning practice is seeking urban designer or landscape architecture design leader that has a passion for working on complex civic-focused projects. This role is to be based in Cleveland, OH.
A key quality of a candidate will be their ability to bring design leadership and foster a culture of design to an established design practice and a diverse set of internal and external collaborators. The successful candidate will work on local projects as we as well as projects in other locales across the country. Regardless of project location, the successful candidate must be a strategic thinker, drive a design process, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and have a willingness and excitement to collaborate with partners across AECOM's multi-disciplinary platform.
The successful candidate will understand the value of leveraging the design platform that AECOM offers, which is access and collaboration with industry leading designers and technical experts in nearly every design and engineering field. The current and near-term projects that this position would support will be transformational to the communities in which they exist.
Internally, this position will provide the opportunity to serve as an integral part of a planning and design practice that includes planners, landscape architects, architects, interior designers, engineers, and business development professionals. The position will require the ability to present and clearly articulate design visions, concepts, internally and externally, as a function of facilitating the overall design process for complex multi-layered design problems and solutions.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in of Landscape Architecture or Urban Design + 6 years of relevant professional design experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Professional landscape architecture license within the US
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Master's degree in landscape architecture or urban design
+ Licensed Landscape Architect in Ohio (within 6 months of hire)
+ Ten plus years of relevant professional design experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Proficiency in Autocad, Adobe Creative Suite, and at least one of the following 3D modeling and rendering platforms (revit, rhino, sketchup)
+ Support the further development of a design studio culture
+ Collaborator & Integrator
+ Minimum of 5 years of applicable design leadership experience.
+ Project leadership experience
+ Professional licensure within the state of Ohio
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD Civil 3D
+ Proficiency in creating hand sketches for the purpose of facilitating design workshops and quickly communicating design ideas.
+ Familiarity with and past participation with business development activities such as marketing, proposals and client development.
+ Excellent internal and external communication of design vision
+ Excellent written communication, quantitative analysis, graphic design, urban design, presenting, and critical thinking skills.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $110,000.00 - $30,000.00.

Key responsibilities include:
