- Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for all facility capital infrastructure projects.
- Maintain system for tracking production project cost performance vs project baseline data, identify variances, analyze leading causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare Estimate at Completion (EAC) analysis reports for monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Analyze project costs and provide insights to stakeholders to help in decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:

- A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience is required, with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in at least two of the following disciplines: Engineering, Finance & Accounting, Project Controls, Legal, or Procurement.
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies is a plus.
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office, SAP or other ERP experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work in a team environment and independently is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
Pay: $98,000.00 - $54,000.00
The base salary range for this position in Ohio (US-OH) at the start of employment is expected to be between 98,000.00 and 154,000.00 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. Responsibilities:- Lead the design of larger scale water system or water treatment and/or municipal design projects.
- Project Manage small to medium water and/or municipal design projects.
- Utilize civil design software to produce construction drawings for clients.
- General surveying and measuring of existing features in the field as needed to fill in for the survey department.
- Assist in estimating the cost to complete engineering work.
- Lead engineering staff in the preparation of engineering designs, related drawings, specifications and construction project estimates.
- Utilize CAD software to perform detailed layout and design of transportation projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD and/or Microstation to perform plan preparation. Civil 3D design experience desired.
- Produce various design options on screen and hard copy, following a manager's or technical professional's direction.
- Perform other tasks deemed necessary by the project manager from time to time.
The position is for full-time employment. The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing water or municipal projects. The candidate must have a Wisconsin Professional Engineer license. The applicant must have recent experience with CAD systems including AutoCAD and/or Microstation. Experience in municipal design, plan preparation, and construction administration are preferred. Depending on design and construction experience, the candidate may be able to work into Project Management quickly. The ideal candidate can expect to work on a wide variety of projects both large- and small-scale.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for all facility capital infrastructure projects.
- Maintain system for tracking production project cost performance vs project baseline data, identify variances, analyze leading causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare Estimate at Completion (EAC) analysis reports for monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Analyze project costs and provide insights to stakeholders to help in decision-making.
- Lead or support cost improvement projects as required.
- Perform various support tasks as required for coordinating executive and customer site performance reviews.
- Provide support for contract negotiations and procurement of services related to projects.
- Provide project management oversite as required to aid in the prioritization of in-house manufacturing and procurement activities for deliverable hardware providing direction to supporting department personnel to expedite limiting activities.
- Perform various project management administrative functions to ensure revision control and compliance to contract requirements.
- Perform all other duties as assigned, which may include special projects or tasks that align with the department's objectives.
- Bachelors degree in business, finance, accounting or related field is required.
- A minimum of six (6) years of related project experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in at least two of the following disciplines: Engineering, Finance & Accounting, Project Controls, Legal, or Procurement.
- Proven experience in project cost analysis, budgeting, or financial management.
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies is a plus.
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office, SAP or other ERP experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work in a team environment and independently is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
The base salary range for this position in Ohio (US-OH) at the start of employment is expected to be between 98,000.00 and 154,000.00 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Project management expertise ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Sales skills are necessary to effectively communicate the value of the systems and negotiate contracts, while finance knowledge is important for managing budgets, forecasting costs, and ensuring the financial viability of projects. This hybrid role is central to the successful delivery of complex projects that require technical knowledge as well as business acumen.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other functions may be assigned:
Preconstruction / Design & Estimating:
· Develop HVAC systems and solutions using a combination of Havtech equipment and controls and other leading HVAC equipment and systems that include project scoping, concept development, engineering analysis, and system validation.
· Presents to audiences to convey solutions and technical information.
· Capable of leading a comprehensive preconstruction effort for a typical Comprehensive Sales project including but not limited to solution design, cost estimates, cost studies, value engineering, scheduling, constructability reviews, site logistics planning, and cash flow projections.
· Capable of leading a comprehensive bid effort including but not limited to preparing and sending out invitations to bid, preparing a project manual, distributing bid documents as required, verifying bid coverage, setting up and utilizing estimate template. Comprehension and execution of all bid requirements including insurances, permits, MBE requirements, prevailing wage requirements, taxes, bonding requirements, and form of proposal.
· Develop comprehensive scopes of work as required for contracting a project.
· Conduct subcontract agreement negotiations with subcontractors to achieve the strongest contract for the project.
Construction:
· Capable of leading a comprehensive construction effort for DB/CM/GC projects
· Act as the primary senior level contact with the client throughout the duration of the project
· Monitor project team deliverables for timely and accurate submissions as required by the project schedule and client Oversee project financials and schedule development and management
· Ensure accurate and consistent files and documentation are maintained.
· Lead timely close-out processes including punch list completion, warranty documentation and fulfillment, and as-built drawings.
Personnel:
· Management of project team members required for the successful execution of your projects.
· Provide mentorship to entry-level team members working on your projects.
· Provide coaching to team members to promote development and growth.
· Monitor all delegated tasks for accuracy, efficiency, and proper process.
· Monitor manpower requirements for your projects.
Business Development:
· Maintain relationships with previous and current clients, architects, and engineers you have/are working with.
· Join and actively engage in a mechanical HVAC industry related organization, ASHRAE or other
· Provide key technical support in pursuit of Havtech business, including participation on strategic job acquisition teams.
· Responsible for obtaining customers from project development through project transition.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have at least 5-10 years of hands-on experience in the commercial construction industry with a general contractor or construction managements firm with specific mechanical HVAC systems knowledge
· Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and train team members; monitor their work for quality and completeness.

· Understanding of scheduling logic / constraints.
· Proficient with construction management software (Timberline and Procore experience ).
· Substantial knowledge of AIA contract documents, and in particular cost plus
· GMP / Design Build contracts.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies
and applicable laws. Responsibilities include involvement with planning, assigning, and
directing work; appraising work and performance; creating development plans.

Consult with owners, operations management and estimators to become thoroughly
