**What You Will Need** **:**
+ TEN(10) + years of hands-on experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, or enterprise IT services for USDA.
+ Bachelor's Degree.
+ Proven track record of technology account growth and client relationship development, especially within USDA OCIO or mission areas.
+ Deep understanding of enterprise IT domains (cloud, data, digital platforms, cybersecurity).
+ Strong communication and executive presence with a consultative mindset.
+ Must be US citizen and able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
**What Would Be Nice To Have** **:**
+ Currently supporting USDA account.
+ Hands-on experience leading cloud modernization, application development, or enterprise architecture projects.

The annual salary range for this position is $206,000.00-$343,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

**Objective of Position** :
The Sr. USDA Loan Analyst supports Small Business Capital (SBC) in originating USDA loans to grow Byline's business and build new client relationships. This role guides customers through pre-qualification, underwriting, and closing, while collaborating with SBC Business Development Officers, Credit Analysts, Closers, and USDA representatives nationwide. The Sr. USDA Loan Analyst has a strong understanding of USDA regulations and complex loan structures and serves as the primary liaison with USDA offices across the country.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Supports the development of new USDA/SBA business through pre-qualification and client engagement efforts.
+ Identifies and conducts appropriate prospecting activities among business development leads.
+ Identifies and qualifies leads from Business Development Officers for USDA program suitability.
+ Contributes to loan profitability through appropriate pricing, fee income, and cross-selling of products and services.
+ Prepares detailed credit memos including project data, loan terms, and financial analysis for committee review.

+ Serves as the primary contact with USDA state and national offices during the underwriting and closing process.

**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related degree.
+ 5+ years of commercial banking loan and deposit business development or relationship management experience.
+ 3+ years of working on USDA B&I loans in some capacity.
+ Knowledge of USDA OneRD requirements and processes.
+ Strong knowledge of government guaranteed lending policies and procedures.
+ Knowledge of commercial banking practices, including financial statement and credit analysis.
+ Formal credit training preferred.

OVERVIEW
Production takes place in the USDA side of operations. Each individual is responsible for keeping their area clean, organized, and to work well with others as a team member. Assembly employees are responsible for products made under FDA, MDARD, or USDA Inspection. Under the guidance of a mentor and in collaboration with scientists and support staff, the participant will have the opportunity to gain experience and learn about the challenges of using machine learning approaches to gain structural and functional insights into genes at a pan-genome level, including identifying genes associated with climate adaptability, using predicted protein structures to assess gene annotation quality, predicting trait-based protein-protein interaction and regulatory networks, and explore the genomes of wild progenitors or closely related species to identify novel target genes.
Learning Objectives : The participant will learn HPC computing technologies and will help develop and co-lead ARS-wide workshops, resulting in a community of scientific practice on the relationships between protein structure, function, and phenotype; recent advances in machine learning; and pan-genomic applications of machine learning. The participant will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple USDA-ARS scientists on using machine learning and comparative genomic approaches with the maize genome and to write scientific papers.

Position Summary
As a member of the Fanning Institute, the faculty member reports to the assigned Associate Director and is responsible for securing, managing, and building a portfolio of client work that aligns with the vision and mission of the Fanning Institute. The faculty member provides consultation, facilitation, training, technical assistance, and applied research to clients on diverse leadership development needs. The faculty member provides services in alignment with Institute's mission and is a link between local communities and UGA expertise. The Fanning Institute is comprised of a range of faculty and staff who work from the Institute's office on the UGA Athens campus.

- A doctorate degree or terminal degree is preferred.

Develop, manage, and expand a portfolio of work funded by grants, client contracts, work agreements, etc., that aligns with the mission and vision of the Fanning Institute by:
- Proactively seek funding for work that aligns with the mission and vision of the Fanning Institute, especially federally funded grant opportunities. Faculty are expected to secure funding to cover salary and related operating expenses.
- Developing and supporting client relationships that result in collaborative efforts from the Fanning Institute and other UGA public service and academic partners.
- Coordinating and collaborating with key Fanning Institute partners to identify and respond appropriately, developing innovative programs and services to meet the needs of clients of different backgrounds. Depending on programmatic needs, faculty typically will have specific areas of concentration and focus but also operate in an interdisciplinary and collaborative manner.
- Developing collaborative linkages within Fanning Institute, Public Service and Outreach, and UGA units that result in increased service to clients by staying abreast of the broad range of Fanning Institute capabilities, expertise, and projects.
- Providing group and individual instruction, facilitation, data gathering sessions, mediation, technical assistance, etc., both on and off campus.
- Conducting effective project management by working collaboratively with other Fanning Institute personnel. This includes following policy, procedures, and processes to develop budgets, agreements, and work products; identifying additional client support needs; and ensuring that workflows are consistent.
- Ensuring all contractual deliverables are met.
Percentage Of Time 75 Duties/Responsibilities
Contribute to a field of knowledge aligned to the mission and vision of the Fanning Institute by creating new processes and programs that are grounded in the concepts and methods of recognized disciplines, professions, and interdisciplinary fields. This work is expected to be shared with colleagues and constituents for discussion, critique, use, and peer recognition by the faculty member publishing in peer-reviewed journals, making conference presentations, presenting research outcomes via webinars, etc.

Receives general direction from the Patrol Response Unit Lieutenant.

Prepare initial incident reports and completes follow up investigations in some cases.

Assist with traffic direction at accident scenes, traffic flow problems, funeral escorts, parades, and other special events; assist TFD and investigative personnel with on-scene investigations as directed.
Issue parking citations for city ordinance and handicap violations.

Participate in use of force training to maintain proficiency in the use of department issued non-lethal weapons (i.e. OC Spray).
