Job Description
Technical support authority for all matters pertaining to the A/V architecture on-site at the Office of Space Launch Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. The candidate will have installation/build experience with complex Audio-Visual Multimedia (AVMM) systems and Local Area Network (LAN) Systems on and off site. Ability to troubleshoot complex audio, video, switching, and control systems problems required. Preferred applicants should be able to discuss examples of completed projects and provide positive references.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain functionality of A/V systems (identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any failures).
- Train on-site personnel in the usage of A/V and other conference room equipment and assist in equipment problem resolution.
- Maintain detailed troubleshooting log of all failures and resolution activities.
- Maintain periodic maintenance and inspection (PMI) log.
- Provide issue/trouble resolution within one (1) week; or provide notification to Project Lead along with supporting documentation of progress for extended outages.
- Responsible for IA equipment risk mitigation- performing maintenance of IA accreditation by running IA scans on equipment as required and resolving problems based on scan results, and updated system software as required for IA purposes (i.e., performing antivirus definition updates).
- Maintain accurate inventory lists of all A/V equipment and software; record serial numbers of new equipment and equipment that breaks and/or is replaced.
- Utilize, interpret, generate and share drawings, documentation, and lessons learned from/with team members at the other sites in order to maintain and strengthen the enterprise.
- Provide status reports and PMI log to supervisor on a monthly basis.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain a TS/SCI clearance
- Ability to pass a CI Poly clearance interview
- Valid Drivers License
- Self starter/motivated individual; ability to work independently
- Ability to work within a flexible team environment with excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with all levels of project support staff and stakeholders.
- Ability to multi-task among several projects while being detail-oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, as well as establish and maintain a strong customer focused working relationship.
- Minimum five (3-5) years' experience in O&M of A/V equipment
- Knowledgeable in the following fields within the past 5 years:
- Install low voltage wiring and cable; solder and terminate connectors; wire equipment racks
- Assembly of equipment/devices using the appropriate supports/mounts
- Integration of audio and video teleconferencing systems
- Cable termination (Fiber, copper, audio, etc.)
- Analog, SDI and HD SDI signal processing and conversion
- The ability to receive the CompTIA Security+ CE certificate within 6 months of the hire date
- Ability to use MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Crestron DMC-E training
- Crestron control code modifications/uploads
Education Requirements:
- High school or equivalent
Years Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of AV integration/installation experience or 3-5 years of AV O&M maintenance experience

Space Forces-Space (S4S) S3 Operations Staff Analyst
SAIC is seeking a national security space operations subject matter expert (SME) to support the Space Forces-Space (S4S) S3 Operations Directorate located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. The TS-cleared and most qualified candidate will have an exciting and important role joining a small team of experts providing operational-level advice to Command leaders and supporting the development of military space operations plans and policies. This team helps ensure unity-of-effort in space operations support to theater warfighters, US government and civil agencies, and commercial and foreign partners.
This role will routinely interface with HQ, USSPACECOM, other USSPACECOM Components, United States Space Force (USSF) Field Commands, Space Operations Command (SpOC), Combatant Commands, assigned and attached subordinate units, Civil and Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, and others as necessary to facilitate execution of missions and tasks.
Technical support includes but is not limited to the following areas: Space Situational Awareness (SSA) sharing information, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), technical studies and analysis; operations concepts development, planning and support; evaluation of operations procedures, capabilities, and requirements; validation and verification activities; and program administrative, security, documentation and presentation support. The contractor will attend appropriate planning and development forums and technical interchange meetings to further understand the background and basis for developing technical analysis.
Responsibilities:
+ Plan, analyze and assess Command and Control, SDA, SSA sharing and space control concepts, architectures, plans, policies, doctrine and requirements.
+ Provide analytical and administrative support to, and/or products and documents for, combined/joint space operations planning consistent with Joint Publication 5-0, Joint Planning.
+ Analyze technical capabilities, mission objectives, and available resources to develop strategies, policy and guidance, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), alternatives and recommended solutions to achieve and/or optimize specific desired space operations goals and objectives to ensure assigned operations are positioned to support and anticipate end user needs.
+ Review, analyze, coordinate, recommend revisions to, and draft coordination of, space operations documents including Orders, Directives, Instructions, CONOPS, Agreements, Requirements, and other documents as required and provide knowledge management support for operations and staff data, etc.
+ Provide analysis of potential impacts to the mission and corresponding operations center operations including global sensor issues, space events and US and foreign space policy impacts.
+ Support resolution of anomalous events and USG or international policy changes that impact space operations.
+ Provide administrative and analytical support for the conduct of Commander Priorities, Readiness, Operations and other Assessments including analyzing and recommending revisions to ensure alignment with applicable orders/missions.
+ Provide analytical and administrative support at technical meetings to accomplish task requirements including working groups such as Lessons Learned and Rules of Engagement.
**Qualifications**
Experience:
+ Experience providing decision support among diverse agencies, customers, and stakeholders (e.g., commercial, civil, governmental and military partners).
+ Demonstrated proficiency in conveying operational capabilities, limitations, employment, needs, and requirements through customer-desired products and forums.
+ Familiarity with space operations in context of joint operations.
+ Knowledge of varying types of military doctrine to include orders, plans, policies, instructions, and concepts of operations.
+ Ability to research various sources of information and compile concisely into presentations, information papers, briefings, etc.
+ Understanding of command relationships and authorities.
Education, Training and Certifications:
+ Bachelor's degree and five years of experience or master's degree and seven years of experience.
Clearance:
+ Top Secret with current SCI eligibility.
