**Introduction**
Join IBM's Veeva Practice team as an Architect & Engineer for Veeva, where you will be a key leader in shaping and proposing innovative solutions leveraging the power of Veeva and IBM's Consulting AI and Asset based capabilities. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and develop compelling, tailored solutions that drive digital transformation within healthcare & life sciences organizations.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, combining your deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of healthcare & life sciences client needs and procurement processes. You will be instrumental in the sales cycle, from initial client engagement and requirements gathering through solution design, demonstration, and proposal development. This position requires a blend of architectural vision, hands-on technical skill, and excellent communication abilities to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
**Your role and responsibilities**
* Partner with IBM account teams and clients to understand their mission, business processes, and technical requirements.
* Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops with clients to refine requirements and validate solution designs
* Design scalable Veeva Development Cloud solutions aligned with business needs, regulatory requirements (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11) and Veeva best practices.
* Architect integrations between Veeva Development Cloud and enterprise systems (e.g., using APIs and middleware).
* Configure lifecycles, workflows, document types, security roles, and metadata models across multiple Vaults.
* Define technical roadmaps, evaluate new Vault releases, and lead the adoption of new features.
* Lead document/data migrations and maintain environment parity across SBX, Test, and Production Vaults.
* Translate business needs into technical specifications, collaborating with stakeholders and development teams
* Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that showcase the value of proposed solutions.
* Incorporate IBM's asset portfolio, including IBM Consulting Advantage and related Assets, into Veeva-centric solutions where appropriate.
* Stay current with the latest Veeva product releases, certifications, and industry trends.
* Potentially mentor and guide junior technical resources.
* Grow the capabilities of the team, develop best practices and accelerators.

**Required technical and professional expertise**
* 3+ years of hands-on experience with Veeva.
* In-depth knowledge of life sciences regulatory frameworks (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
* Must have a proven track record meeting with senior management and executives as the subject-matter expert.
* Must be able to take complex client and vendor concepts and articulate them to audiences of varying perception levels.
* Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively.

We are seeking a Senior Implementation Manager / Solution Architect  to lead regional implementation and deployment of Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, Veeva Network and Salesforce deployment as part of a strategic commercial and data transformation initiative. This role will also leverage Salesforce expertise to ensure seamless integration across the enterprise landscape.

The ideal candidate will combine deep domain knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry (both Human and Animal Health) with hands-on leadership in large-scale platform implementations. What You Will Be Doing:

Our Software Architects are "hands-on" problem solvers who coach our engineers on code organization, technical debt solving and big features implementation. They are accountable for leading tech roadmaps (performance scalability, security ), experiment new technologies, make PoCs and make sure our architecture remains a reference in the SaaS industry. This is a unique opportunity to :

- Work with complex and cross-cutting challenges: Building expertise around a complex codebase on which analysis and modeling capabilities are key. Significant traffic (4.5 million monthly active users, 1 million courses played per week, 2 data centers) with a considerable volume of data to manage. A strong focus on "clean architecture" for long-term growth. The opportunity to stay "hands-on" by regularly refactoring our code, helping squads with their complex projects .- In a scale-up wishing to improve itself: Align R&D on strategic subjects: architecture, stack, organization, roadmap, objectives. Increase the skills of teams by disseminating good practices, organizing workshops and writing documentation. All in a context of strong international expansion of the product.- Within a high-level team: Our R&D brings together some eighty engineers recognized for their ability to analyze and model extremely complex codebases. Zilliant is looking for an innovative Architect to join our forward-thinking team. As an Architect, you'll spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge solutions that drive our company's technological advancements. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external teams while reporting directly to the CTO.   

What You’ll Do:   

  • Lead the architectural design and development efforts for complex software projects.  
  • Collaborate with teams to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business goals.  
  • Assess and refine existing architectures, implementing enhancements to improve scalability and performance.  
  • Guide and mentor the technical team, providing insights and best practices for system design and development.  
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into architectural strategies to enhance product offerings

What You’ll Need:   

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in an architect or principal engineer role.  
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, and TypeScript, with hands-on knowledge across backend, frontend, and data systems.  
  • Hands‑on experience with public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers/Kubernetes, and IaC (e.g., Terraform).  
  • Deep experience designing cloud- SaaS applications (preferably on AWS or Azure).  
  • Strong understanding of microservices, APIs (REST/GraphQL), event-driven design, and distributed systems.  
  • Expertise in data modeling, integration, and API-first design.  
  • Solid grounding in scalability, performance tuning, and system security.
