**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Manager** - **Vehicle Inspection Facility** to join our team! In this role you will get to **manage all facility operations including supervision of the inspection process through direct supervision of lane staff** . Paid training in vehicle inspection policies and procedures will be provided.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Monitors lane operations including traffic flow, troubleshooting, and customer service.
+ Schedules work assignments to ensure proper staffing for varied traffic volumes to minimize wait times and ensures there is at least one manager on duty during all hours the CIF is open.
+ Ensures compliance with Corporate Health and Safety program for motorists and employees.
+ Responsible for disciplinary action of employees at the CIF with guidance from the Region Manager.
+ Ensures compliance with NJDOT, NJDEP, NJMVS and Parsons established inspection procedures.
+ Ensures all administrative and performance audit corrective action items are resolved within specified time limits.
+ Ensures equipment is operating according to established QA/QC procedures.
+ Responsible for all controlled items assigned to the CIF.
+ Ensures good public relations between the company, employees, and others including the handling of customer inquiries and complaints.
+ Assists in the resolution of conflicts between CIF staff and motorists.
+ Provides support to the state and internal audit teams.
+ Maintain the facility and property.
+ Stimulates positive employee and station appearance. Assists with equipment calibrations.
+ Spends majority of the day in the inspection lanes supervising the workflow.
+ Other duties and tasks as assigned.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Posses a valid driver's license and good driving record.
+ Ability to drive vehicles with a manual transmission.
+ Three to five years management/ supervisory experience required.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Associate or bachelors degree with advanced training desirable.
+ Automotive and instrumentation aptitude desired.

Parsons is seeking a Vehicle Inspection Station Compliance Officer to join the Pennsylvania Emissions Team in support of our project with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
Position Overview:
We are looking for candidates local to the Lebanon, Berks, or Lancaster County area. This role offers a Monday-Friday schedule (7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM), with most work conducted on the road at vehicle repair stations or remotely from your home.
If you are self-motivated, independent, and eager to learn, this is a great opportunity! Automotive experience is not required-we provide training for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct station audits to ensure compliance with state and federal safety and emissions inspection regulations.

Audit inspection station records for compliance and review paperwork for accuracy and shop cleanliness.

Self-manage a set number of station audits within the Berks and Lancaster County areas.

Handle station appointments and cancellations within the program.

Serve suspensions to stations and technicians as needed.

Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:

Parsons is seeking a **Vehicle Inspection Station Compliance Officer** to join the Pennsylvania Emissions Team in support of our project with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
**Position Overview:**
We are looking for candidates local to the Lebanon, Berks, or Lancaster County area. This role offers a Monday-Friday schedule (7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM), with most work conducted on the road at vehicle repair stations or remotely from your home.
If you are self-motivated, independent, and eager to learn, this is a great opportunity! Automotive experience is not required-we provide training for the right candidate.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct station audits to ensure compliance with state and federal safety and emissions inspection regulations.
+ Audit inspection station records for compliance and review paperwork for accuracy and shop cleanliness.
+ Self-manage a set number of station audits within the Berks and Lancaster County areas.
+ Handle station appointments and cancellations within the program.
+ Serve suspensions to stations and technicians as needed.
+ Respond to consumer complaints and inquiries.
+ Testify in court hearings when required.
+ Represent PennDOT at safety and emissions inspection meetings.
**Qualifications:**
**Required Skills and Experience:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Valid, clean Pennsylvania driver's license.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a Safety Inspection Mechanic Certification and Certified Emission Inspector Certification (training provided).
+ Strong computer skills and proficiency with office equipment.
+ Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
+ Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with the public and document violations accurately.
+ Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds, sit/stand for extended periods, drive for up to 90 minutes at a time, and work in varying shop environments (hot/cold temperatures).
+ Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided).
**Preferred Skills and Experience:**
+ Automotive knowledge is helpful but not required-training will be provided.
+ Previous experience in auditing, compliance, or investigative roles is a plus.
