Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer - Phoenix, AZ
We are actively hiring for up to 30 Intelligent Manufacturing Engineers to support Semiconductor Manufacturing in Phoenix, AZ! This is an automated, cleanroom environment where engineers will have the ability to work with and learn from the best and brightest in their field. This person will have the ability to work in different sections of the production line and fain leadership skills based on their people management abilities. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with 1-3 years of experience to have a hand in cutting-edge technology with an industry-leading company in AI and Manufacturing as they continue to grow.
Job Description and Responsibilities
A Manufacturing Engineer will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing science, including theory of constraints, capacity planning, and flow optimization. The role involves ensuring that the core infrastructure of the factory can cooperate with the production control and execution systems to meet production needs. This engineer will collect and perform data analysis of tools and dispatching logic to ensure equipment and process flow are running optimally. The position requires maintaining an effective scheduling system that provides decision-making logic to enable the fab to achieve production capacity targets while improving operational control capabilities and significantly reducing variability. Specific responsibilities include:
+ Respond quickly to changing priorities and handle multiple projects with potentially overlapping deadlines.
+ Establish effective planning capabilities to maximize fab capabilities to meet customers' requirements.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure robotic workstations, detection instruments, and database/informatics tools meet standards and goals.
+ Manage all team members and build team spirit through involvement and effective communication.
+ Coordinate daily activities for Manufacturing Specialists to ensure production goals are met.
+ Work with a specific section within the wafer production line, identifying gaps, determining root causes, and finding solutions.
+ Oversee the output of the production line and monitor upstream and downstream processes.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement proper solutions.
+ Present findings and long-term solutions in meetings on a daily basis.
+ Quickly identify and resolve issues related to constraints, capacity planning, and flow optimization.
Job Requirements
+ Bachelor's of Science in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or related discipline.
+ 1 to 3 years of Manufacturing Experience in a Highly-Regulated or Cleanroom Environment.
+ Candidates may have 4-5 years of experience if it includes Semiconductor Manufacturing.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of Optimization Algorithms and Industrial Engineering processes.
+ Proficiency in Excel and SQL with the ability to manage large Data Sets.
+ Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without Sponsorship assistance.

Work Environment
This role is based in a fully automated production environment. You'll work primarily from a computer, analyzing data and driving improvements. The work environment is fast-paced and ever-changing. This company is always looking for efficiency gains and optimizations of their production operations. As such, this team will consistently be asked to identify and resolve "roadblocks" throughout the production process.
Due to the nature of the work, candidates should expect to work in a highly-regulated cleanroom environment. The facility is locked down with no personal cell phones or electronics allowed onsite. The company will provide a cell phone for all employees. Attire is Business Casual, with occasional need for a Bunny Suit and Closed-Toed Shoes during site visits.
Compensation
+ Candidates with a B.S. degree - Between $95,000 and $00,000 base salary per year
+ Candidates with a M.S. degree - Up to 120,000 base salary per year
+ Annual Bonus of 18% paid out twice per year (9% and 9% each time)
+ Relocation is not provided for this role
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is 95000.00 - 12000.00/yr.
